Wow Amazing Fantastic

These are the words I use each week at fins swimming club watching my daughter swim from ducking 1working her way up to stage 2.



When my daughter Mia started swimming she was scarred and afraid of the water but by week 2 she was just amazing to watch she was swimming and I couldn't believe my eyes.

She didn't even like getting her hair wet and now she's swimming under water.

Her teacher Luke is incredible he is kind caring and in Mia's words 'the best teacher ever'.

The staff and kind and friendly.

I would 100% recommend this club to anyone and everyone.

Our nearly 4 year old daughter Freya has been with Emma for around 18 months now. Freya did not like the water that much when she started, but the patience and perseverance given by Emma has finally turned Freya into a little confident swimmer. We have been to other swimming lessons before where teachers don't go into the water at all, and another company where their teacher to student ratio is 1:6! This is never the case with Fins and the max I have observed was 1:3, in fact I would say 90% of the time in water is 1:1. All of the teachers are very nice and will keep the child happy. Emma can report your child's progress in your own webportal, rewarding badges that has acted such an enabler for Freya to be more motivated. Fins also have other classes for your child to progress up to, I hope one day Freya will take on the scuba/snorkelling class and young lifeguard courses. Thank you!

Our Daughter has been swimming with Fins for over a year now and i cannot fault them at all. We previously tried a different swim school and found it really didn't work for our daughter. After having to force her to want to go to swimming we found Fins through a recommendation and she now looks forward to her fun lessons even after she has just finished!! Can't fault these guys at all (especially Luke), they have made Alana into a very confident little swimmer and she is always progressing weekly.

Our 5 year old son, Oliver, has now done 4 intensive one-to-one swimming courses with Fins this year, the latest with Katrina during the summer holidays. Each instructor had done an absolutely brilliant job of encouraging Oliver and building his confidence. He has thoroughly enjoyed each week of intensive lessons and has been upset when they ended. His swimming has improved enormously, from having never swum at all before the October half term, to now being able to swim lengths unaided on his front and back. Thanks Fins - we'll be back again :)

My son has been with Mandy at Fins for 2 terms and I have seen a huge improvement in his swimming compared to when he was with a different company, the ratio of teachers to children is great as well as the small class sizes. Highly recommend!

My son Sean has just completed a weeks 1-1 course with Luke. The course was great, it gave him a great opportunity to concentrate on the areas he was struggling with in his regular lessons and boost his confidence. It was well organised and Luke has a great way with kids. Sean loves his lessons and enjoyed his 1-1. I would definitely book another 1-1 course with them and we are looking forward to the new term starting.

My little girl who is 3.5 took part in the course at 9:30 every morning this week. The pool is bigger than the one we are used to. She took one look at the pool and refused to go in. The next day I had to hand her over to the supervisor (Elena). She and the other lady were so kind and patient with her she clung to them all through the lesson. The next day they handed her to Luke who was so kind and patient but firm with her. It's just what she needed he soon had her swimming with the noodle. She even jumped in the pool at the end of the lesson!! By the end of the week she actually sat on the side and let him get her into the pool normally. She was happy and confident and joining in with the other children. I thought it was brilliant that the instructors were in the pool with the children. All three were highly professional. The lessons were well structured and fun and I am so glad we went to this swimming club. We are just about to book weekly lessons from September. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you also to the lovely mums who supported us this week commencing 1st August 2016 please stay in contact we would love to hear from you. The lessons were well worth the money and to see my daughter's sense of pride and achievement and see her coming out of the pool each time so excited was well worth it. I cannot thank you all enough.

My little girl has been swimming with Fins for some time now, she has just gone up to Ducklings 1 with Sarah and I am so impressed, she has become so confident in the water without us there with her and I always feel she is being looked after well by Sarah and the rest of the team. I couldn't recommend Fins highly enough!

My daughter has been with fins for over a year now & she is such an accomplished swimmer, very confident & happy! She has great fun whilst learning, the teachers are excellent & always make the children feel safe, my older child swam with fins for 2 years & is an excellent swimmer also due to the fins wonderful teachers, could not recommend the school enough :)

My daughter Gemma has just completed a 1-1 holiday course and was lucky to have Beth as her teacher for this.

Not only did she really like Beth but she loved every day of it! After being apprehensive on day 1, she then couldn't wait to go back each day after that.

She is (and I am!) really pleased with how much progress she has made in those 5 days - we are so glad she did it. Thanks Beth and Fins!!

My daughter Alicia (3.5yrs) did a 1:1 crash course during the summer holidays, she had Beth as a teacher. Beth took her time as Alicia had never met her before and by the end of the week, she was confidently swimming with just floatation aids by herself and had learnt new skills such as a tick-tock. Will definitely be signing up for another crash course and have even left another school to do term-time lessons with Farnborough Fins! Fabulous!

Most reviews below are from parents regarding their little ones! So thought I'd post an adult review. I am a confident strong swimmer in one stroke breaststroke, I really wanted to learn another stroke/technique so I can mix it up and not get bored of one stroke in my exercise regime. I signed up & started last week in a 'swim fit' term, Paul the instructor was more than happy to teach the basics of front crawl by the end of the first lesson I was doing front crawl albeit abit messy, I was totally amazed and so chuffed, I can now build on this for the rest of the term. I highly recommend these sessions.

Just wanted to say a massive Thank you to Jamie, our 4 year old boy, did a crash course with you in the May half term. His first swim lesson he cried for the entire lesson. His last swimming lesson he was better, he swam unaided with just 1 float. He still needed a little confidence in just having fun in the pool. Today(the first day of our holiday) he has been jumping in the pool and swimming back to the side on his own and threatening Grandad with being 'bombed'... I can't tell you how lovely it is to have a little boy who is confident and safe in the water but one who is loving it too. Thank you so much.

I don't think I could brag about anything more than Fins Swimming.

My daughter started swimming back in November 2017 and quickly moved up to the toddler stage at 2.5 years (no parent in the pool). Since this time I have seen her confidence grow and watched her learn some amazing skills and actually learning how to swim by her self. Juliet and Jamie (her teachers) have both been amazing and I couldn't of asked for better teachers; both of them made the whole experience so easy and relaxing and when ever I thought my daughter was not listening I knew they would just re-focus her onto the task she was meant to be. Now my daughter is turning 3 and she is working towards level 3 ducklings (sadly not with Jamie or Juliet as we have had to change our day) and I have every bit of faith with the new teacher for the next term.



If you ever have any doubts with swimming lessons I would 100% recommend this company with 5* EVERYTIME!

Can somebody confirm at what times the chlorine level is checked on Saturdays at Frimley C of E school for 230pm lessons and what number we can call to ensure the lesson is on before we leave home.

Overall, I was really happy with the facilities and coaching available during the time my child attended swimming lessons at Fins. However, due to unforeseen circumstances my child is no longer able to attend his lessons. Although I was offered to move the lesson to various different days none of these were appropriate with our schedule.

I was then informed that I would not be reimbursed for the 13 remaining swimming session I had paid for in advance. Now I can understand losing maybe 1 or 2 sessions but the whole 13 is a bit unreasonable; especially as I informed the company well in advance of some of these dates. I was told his place could be put up for вАЬsaleвАЭ and if filled then I would get вАЬsome typeвАЭ of refund for any remaining sessions. However, this is no guarantee of a substantial re-fund of the remaining sessions, thus I will still be losing money even if another child takes his spot.

Now as a parent I feel that a business should understand their clientвАЩs possible needs and have something in place for circumstances such as mine so that I wouldnвАЩt lose so much money. For example, once his spot is filled fully re-fund the remaining sessions. Also an email confirming they have processed my request and stating the terms and conditions would be nice so I know where I stand.
