A19's Scooter Rally at Fishburn Airfield this weekend. The airfield is still open to fly in as normal and avgas available all weekend. The Aviator will be serving drinks but all food will be provided by on site outside catering from Friday.

The Aviator is open till 8pm. Burger and pint £9.50 offer still running 🍔🍺

From Fishburn Airfield... The Twisters, The Fireflies and O'Brien's "Otto" are all doing late evening shows on Friday. Saturday The Twisters, Wingwalkers and Gyro Display will be on at at different times in the afternoon, then on Sunday The Wingwalkers, Gyro Display and Fireflies are on again throughout the afternoon.

Sunderland Air Show starts this Friday. Some of the display teams that have so far confirmed will be operating from Fishburn for the show are... Twister Aerobatics Team Aerosuperbatics WingWalkers (Breitling) FireFlies Aerobatic Display Team Gyro Air Displays... O'Brien's Flying Circus

Well what's not to love !!beautiful views , lovely welcome and a good cafe ! Just nice to sit and watch the planes on a lovely sunny day .

The cafe and staff are brilliant... very nice views

The burgers are fabulous and followed by delicious home made cake. Just an all round gorgeous spot to meet friends for lunch and coffee. Sorry a bit of me doesn’t want you to get too popular because I might not get a seat!

The North's top airfield, fantastic facilities one of my favourite places !

Lovely place to sit and have coffee and watch the planes. My little boy loves it and the coffee is very very nice. Definitely be back soon �

It's a nice place to just sit, watch the aircraft and grab a bite to eat. A proper chill out place.

Came here initially to enquire about Flexwing's, having just recently moved to the area. Although it was a little quite today which surprised me with it being a nice Sunday, I found it to be a very very well kept airfield complemented with a fabulous club house. Just a shame it was empty, albeit 3 of us sat here. Well worth a visit/fly in. Avgas available too. ���
