Hi everyone. After much creativeness from our new chef, old chef, management and our friendly bar staff, we are proud to announce the launch of our new menu.
Our philosophy has been to create an extended menu with something for everyone. We have achieved this by providing fun and tasty dishes with some modern twists and keeping the ever popular pub favourites and of course as always using local produce wherever we can.
In the starters and light bites you will find such delig...hts as Potato wedges smothered in melted cheese, salsa & soured cream, Piri piri chicken wings, Chorizo & mozarella bites and we havn't forgotten the classics like Crispy fried whitebait and Prawn cocktail.
On the main dishes we have Pork belly with honey & apple glaze, lamb shanks, Calver liver & bacon, Southern fried chicken with sweetcorn salsa and the ever popular Steak & ale pie. Also everyday is Sunday at the Fleming with our traditional roast with a choice of Isle of Wight meats.
Grills include 8oz sirloin steak, traditional or with with a spicy twist, a touch of Louisiana with tender bbq pork ribs with fried sweetcorn dumplings, you may want to eat a whole plate of dumplings on their own they are so good. Also we have what one of our customers has described as " the best Cajun chicken i have ever had ".
We have new hot and cold sandwich offerings with baguettes, ciabatta and traditional breads with smoked bacon & brie, steak & mushroom and our very own homemade fishfinger sandwich.
The menu also offers Jacket potatoes, Ploughmans, Salads, Pasta, Pizza breads, Fish dishes, Sides and desserts with sticky toffe pudding Apple crumble, and flavoured ice cream sundaes.

What a great evening we had! Great live music, very tasty food and very friendly , helpful staff! Highly recommend!

Went with my parents and my 2 year old. Nice clean and friendly. Good selection of drinks and the food was a little slow however that being said was cooked perfect lovely meal. Good selection on the kids menu. £47 for the adult mains and a child main and beers I think was brilliant value considering the quality of the meals was lush. Will be coming again thank you!

We had a really lovely lunch here today. Everyone; including my two sons (12 & 6), my husband and myself; enjoyed our various meals. The prices were reasonable and the food tasty. There was a children's menu with good sized portions.

The pub is smart and, although large inside, has a cosy atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming to us and our large dog.

The pub is conveniently located if getting on or off the ferry, as just a few minutes drive away.

The perfect end to our holiday. �

I visited last night with my husband and two friends and had a great meal which was great value for money. I'm amazed at what the new owners have done with the place, my last visit was a couple of years ago and I vowed never to go back! I'm glad I did. It's hard to turn a pub around but I think these owners might just do it.�����

First visit since new owners best Sunday roast I've had in a long time very nice and staff very friendly even welcomed our dog would definately recommend .

Inboxed after a problem i found, didnt even have the decency to reply, saying that, id you like the funky gibbon & agadoo then this is the place for you, walked in on a saturday night with this been played by a dj. kids running round every where, no ta, not on a saturday night, not at all in fact.

First time going since new owners and didn't enjoy the food. Four of us went and all had different meals and none of us enjoyed. I had the lasagne and it was bland, my dad had the roast and didn't enjoy it. Won't be going back for another meal there.

Can not believe the service tonight, ordered our meals at 6.30pm.. was told there would be a 45min wait, which was fine, starters arrived ok.. Then by 8pm my family was very hungry upon asking where are food was we were informed there would be at least another 30 min wait, so in total 2 hours, not the 45 mins we were told in the beginning.. Asked for a complete refund, but was still made to pay for the starters.. Totally shocked a appuled at the service tonight and the total lack of customer care....!!!!
