FootieBugs brings a professional children’s football based activity to Bath offering professional and engaging football coaching for all Bath children between the ages of three to eleven years! All of our programmes are designed by a team of specialist doctors, physiotherapists and paediatricians and educators including the guidance of Professional footballers.
Though a combination of football based training modules children are not only taught the art of football (by highly trained coaches and in many cases ex professionals) and the core skills needed, but are also taught how to develop invaluable social skills such as listening, sharing, taking turns and especially, working together as a team.
All FootieBugs sessions are conscientiously woven into an ever evolving programme that places as much emphasis on concepts like learning colours and developing number skills as on fine-tuning a child’s basic balance, agility and co-ordination skills.
All FootieBugs programmes are taught in a positive, pressure-free environment which encourages children to learn and develop at their own pace.
FootieBugs prides itself on being able to do more than help produce the next David Beckham, more than just teach children the core skills to be a good footballer; it prides itself in working in partnership with the whole family. We believe in offering all of our knowledge and expertise that extends the football field by providing invaluable health and fitness guides and nutritional booklets, which parents /carers find particularly useful.
FootieBugs promotes individuality and encourages this through building confidence and self assurance. We also ensure that children enhance their core skills by playing and learning together with their peers. As such, FootieBugs programmes are designed age appropriately and offers a clear step by step programme that can be accessed by all. Together this encourages children to maximise their knowledge and understanding, their eagerness to participate and be part of a team and above all enables children to develop to their full potential.

Thank you to Gareth, Chris and coaches for ensuring that my 2 always have such an amazing time at Footiebugs! We’ve done most camps over the last couple of years, had a fantastic Footiebugs party and Friday night training and I could not recommend Gareth, Chris and the team enough. The level of coaching they get is so professional but fun with it, which I’m sure is not easy to achieve. So easy to organise places on the camps, instant responses, love a sibling discount too! Thanks guys! Ps I wasn’t very popular that they missed out this half term so we’ll see you very soon! Leanne
My son is 4 and absolutely loves football he is crazy about it he's been coming just over a year now and every time he comes he really enjoys it and gets a boost from coming it has built him up both physically and mentally in terms of he used to be so shy and now he's out of his shell and feels right at home he loves the coaches and he loves going to the half term camps too the coaches are so good with the children tbh I don't know how they teach them all day at football but it's such a special moment for them to feel like part of a team by playing with each other and knowing that they don't know anyone making new friends too I just want to thank footiebugs for everything they do and maybe even soon get tyreece playing for a team ��� football goals

He loves the holiday camps!! the coaches are amazing good with the boys and girls of course �! My son loves his trophies � that he has won at footiebugs, he shows them off to all his friends and family! Looking forward to the next one �
My boys love coming to footie bugs, they do different activities and they love the competitions for the opituntities to win a trophy at the end of the week. The cost of this holiday camp is very reasonable.
I would just like to say a big thanks to Gareth & all the coaches at footiebugs my son love it!. He has been with footiebugs since Feb . The coaches are all professional caring & understand of each of the children... they have given my son the confidence & ability to improve on his football week after week , and this is all done with good planning of each session but stIll has the element of fun ... Well done team footiebugs keep it up.
Excellent training. My son loves to learn why he needs to do certain things in the game - not just wallop the ball to score! He loves the mix of training and fun and looks forward to every session. To see him grow in confidence as his skills improve is lovely. Only downside is that I am now banned from playing as I need to go to training myself lol! Thanks Chris, Gareth and all the coaches x
