I’ve worn lots of different riding kit over the years, some good, some great and lots crap. These few bits however have become my firm favourites. 1. Gasolina made to measure Classic boots, best part of 10 years old and still the most comfortable footwear I own. 2. My Hedon Heroine Racer, it’s like my boots for my head but with loads more hair grease left inside! 3. Barbour International jacket, utterly crap at keeping me dry when riding but it’s been everywhere with me and i...s suitably gnarled. 4. Resurgence Gear Cafe Racer riding jeans, you can and I regularly do wear these all day long. 5. Churchill Maverick Classic short wrist gloves in tan, a terrible colour choice for someone that rides Classic British bikes but the older and grubbier they get the more I love them! #foundrymotorcycle #gasolinaboots #resurgencegear #barbourinternational #hedonworkshop #churchillgloves What else are you people using?????

So the recent demise of Old 56’ cylinder head meant I needed to dig one of my other bikes out of storage. I’d forgotten how much fun a 500 Bullet can be and how nice suspension on our ever deteriorating roads can be. So I was at Glemseck 101 courtesy of @hedonworkshop this past weekend, it’s a pretty cool event with some very cool sprint bikes. I didn’t manage to get a single useable picture from the event. On my way to the airport I decided to take a pit stop at the Porsche museum in Stuttgart. Yesterday's Spring ride in was excellent. Great bikes, good food and coffee and everyone was having fun which in my book is what it's all about. How about a mid summer BBQ and the motorcyclists favourite 'Octoberfest'?

Superb collection of bikes and great coffee. Took my 4 year old boy along a while ago, Tom took time out to tell him about the bikes and gave him an apple juice. Great guy, great shop!

Rode down to Chichester to see Foundry Motorcycles in the flesh, Tom was very welcoming, was happy to chat about his set up and made me a great latte! Very talented guy, I look forward to seeing the finished Beemer at the Bike Shed show next weekend!

Popped into Foundry Motorcycles today on a 'day off work' road trip.. met Tom for the first time, what a place, what a nice bloke. Even though I only bought a coffee (superbly made I may add) and a T-shirt he gave me his time and attention and his passion for what he does oozes out of him.. a McQueen coolness about the guy.. I'll be back, and one day with a 'can you build me a..' request hopefully. Thanks Mate.

I bought a pair of 'Churchill's deer skin cuff gloves' from the foundry 6-7 months ago. They are the most comfortable gloves ever. In rain they act like shammy leather, soaking up the rain, but warming to your hands. In the heat still comfortable. 2 weeks ago I was rear ended stationary at a light by a BMW doing 30 mph. I flew across the road, whacking the road hard. My left hand hitting first as I slid. The left glove is scrapped some, but I truly believe it saved my clutch hand.

Plus....I looked real cool, wearing 'Churchill's' as I flew through the air. When I can afford it Im getting me some beige ones too.

Thanks guys for the gloves & the fast delivery service to the UK.

A feelgood moment for us who share a motorcycle passion, enhanced with a visit to Tom and the Foundry Shop. Good and & decent man, completely straight, knowledgable and good value, I've had 40 bikes in 35 years riding, 4 in my garage now and would have no hesitation recommending Foundry.
