About Franco Manca
We don’t overcomplicate. We don’t overprice. We don’t stuff crusts. We do sourdough pizza.
Our pizza is made on site, daily, from slow-rising sourdough in an oven which produces a heat of about 500°c (930°F).
The slow-quick process means the flavour, aroma and moisture cannot escape and that we never keep you waiting.
Welcome to sourdough pizza, as it should be.

We celebrate our amazing Ferragosto!!! Amazing service by lovely Stefania! She were really glad to meet her again after our Westfield London shopping day! Excellent service and pizza! Thank you to GM Cristian for gis wonderful care! Franco...Mancava!
To be honest I wouldn't count myself a Pizza lover but I love Italian food. Stems from the time when 'Deep Pan 'was everywhere and the 'Hawaiian' craze just put the nail in the coffin for me ! So , in a nutshell , not a fan .
Well . . . fast forward to last Sunday evening, I was in Oxford at Franco Manca's new Restaurant. It was Buzzing ! Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff .
I noticed something very different about the look of the Pizzas coming out from the Oven - they were very thin yet looked and smelled delicious . I ordered mine with tomato base curd cheese and extra topping of artichokes which was simply amazing. It was the sourdough that gave that distinct nutty flavour and the best still was the puffed up crust which went so well with the Pesto dip I also ordered . Whoever thought of that - brilliant ! I scoffed the lot and then had the Lemon and Thyme cake with soured cream . Thank you so much Franco Manca team for restoring my love of Italian food and yes dare I say - Sourdough Pizza! Heaven !
The best - always will be! No brainer!
Number 6 extra cook ham and wild broccoli.
My friend and i went there when it first opened several months ago and it was excellent, visiting Oxford again yesterday we went back again, still excellent same great service and best pizza ever.
My 2nd time here and again i had my favourite which was Pizza with Anchovies&Olives superbly cooked too perfection and to drink with my meal a nice cold bottle of Beer....service was excellent.
Me and my little boy (6) loved it. Was busy when we went in so slight wait. But well worth it. Best pizza I’ve had in years great dough well cooked. Pale ale is really good but a little expensive for 330ml bottle. Food prices more than reasonable though. Would definitely return
I must say for the very first time! Their pizza is better than my mums pizza
Great pizza and tiramisu at Franco Manca. Will visit again
Fantastic food and excellent service. I must have to point out our waitress Alexandra (Alé). Her smile and kindness lit up the room and she gave us the best experience!
Excellent pizza and dip.
Great service
Came here on Wednesday with my housemate for a free pizza at 5pm, service was great with very friendly staff and the pizzas were sublime, best I've had for s while.
Hope to come back again soon.
Best pizzas around. Great addition to Oxford
Food was amazing and the atmosphere was exceptional. The waitress @briele was very pleasant and had great customer service. Top notch!!
Can’t fault the pizzas . The best in oxford so far . My friend and I consider ourselves as regulars . We wanted a table for 2 , so the staff member took our names . But we kept being overlooked even though we were in a cue and told it would take about 10 to 15 mins for a table . One large group got a table ahead of us and it happened again . I told my friend if it happens for the 3rd time , then we would leave . It did and we walked away and ate somewhere else ! Poor service !
Thankyou for the free pizza i know i shouldn't moan as it was free but think the pizza could have been cooked a bit more as it was cold
Da italiano non credo di tornare. La pizza non é cotta bene, nel menù non esiste la coca cola e in compenso c'è il lambrusco che non si abbina con nulla. Peccato
