From the Trustees / Commandant.... Well done the 3 Cadets that were so smart, attentive and professional at the Commandants rehearsal at RMA Sandhurst on Wednesday. You upheld the proud traditions of our Corps and all that it stands for.

Third time lucky ! Tonight we will be meeting at 6.30pm at Barossa common. If you are unsure of where to meet, please see the map below, and aim for 190 Kings Ride in Camberley please.

Please consider coming to this event, as it has taken the 'Friends' team, a lot of time and work in organising this so far. We hope that many of you will attend, but please could you advise ASAP if you intend to come, to prevent the event from being cancelled....
They'll also have a disco, face painting, brick a brac, raffle and much, much, more.

Blue company parents. We hope the weather will be kind this week and allow us to use Barossa Common as we had to postpone it last week due to bad weather forecasts.... It's looking a bit hit and miss again for tomorrow, but please check here and your e-mail for updated info just after lunch tomorrow please.

Please be advised that we are NOT closing for the summer, as has been done in previous years, so please keep attending. If any of the cadets have friends that are bored during the holidays, tell them to come too. It's the perfect time to come along, try something new, and then stick with us if they enjoy it.

Once again, I have put our name forward for charity funding from a Facebook group called 'The UK Coin Society' To get the funding, I need to get as many of you as possible to join the group and vote for us in their poll. I'm not sure how much money is involved, but even a few hundred would make a big difference for us.

Junior Company visit to the Museum of Army Medicine this Saturday (14th). Are there any mums that would be able to stay with Corporal Findlay on this event please, as we have a lack of female staff able to help on Saturday. If so, please comment below....

On behalf of the Corps, I would like to congratulate Kathleen Hedges for passing her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Frimley & Camberley Cadet Corps is a community organisation, teaching children and young adults, military style subjects. The corps was started in 1904 as a bible reading class, but was changed to it's current name in 1908 meaning that we celebrate 110 years in 2018. The corps is a registered charity, and relies solely on subscriptions, so we are always looking to increase our cadet numbers. If you have children from the age of 7 and upwards, they are quite welcome to come an...d visit us, and see what we do for four weeks, before being asked to commit to joining us. If they're worried about attending, send them along with a friend... From all of the staff and cadets at F&CCC, we hope to see you soon !
