We bought our first used Subaru from Geoff Cox in December 2015, very pleased with the car, great sales team especially Craig who dealt with us through out the sale. We've recently taken it back to Geoff Cox Subaru for a major service and once again very pleased with the customer service given. Sharon on the desk was very helpful. We would recommend them in both sales and services.

Want to say thank you to Mike who helped my husband and me to purchase my new car. Mike is a most helpful person, who even stayed over closing time on a wet Sunday afternoon to let us take one of the cars out on a test drive and then sat with us discussing it whilst his Sunday dinner was waiting for him at home. We did the deal and arranged for picking the car up, he then keep me informed as to it being ready on the day. Will happily recommend to my friends.

This is the best car buying experience I have had in 30 years. Craig, salesman, not pushy, gave me more than I expected for my car. I have a private number plate and Craig dealt with all the paperwork for that. Absolutely cannot fault. Even though I'm from Huddersfield and Geoff Cox is in Derby, next time I change my car I will contact Geoff Cox, and hopefully Craig, as my first point of contact.

Really pleased with my recently purchased Jaguar XF Sport. After initial contact via email, Craig from the sales team was quick to respond with a courtesy phone call and was refreshingly helpful and friendly. I felt he was able to speak to me on a level, without ever placing any pressure and without any of the stereotypical 'car salesman' lines or tactics! The overall transaction was extremely smooth and after test driving, I was able to drive away in my new car a couple of hours later. Would certainly recommend, just don't ask Craig about his football career- it still pains him to talk about it

My dad Terry recently bought a new Subaru from Geoff Cox and suggested i went and had a look at their forecourt. Saw a nearly new Fiesta ST2 MP215 which subsequently turned out to be mechanic Ben's old car which he had from new. Was given the keys to go and have a test drive and bought it on my return!! No pressure from anyone at all....all very refreshing.

Salesman Alex who dealt with me and has now returned to Oz, was excellent!! And they even said they would store the car for me as i couldnt pick it up for 2 months.

Collection day was smooth with Sam taking over the reins and im overjoyed with the service and the ST i bought!

If you're looking for a new or nearly new car...there is only one place to come really and thats to Geoff Cox....and if you're lucky enough to bump into Geoff himself, you'll find a very funny and cracking bloke!! I have had my new car for nearly a week now and am very happy with it. The service I received was excellent. I visited two main dealer garages in Derby and was not impressed at all, they did not listen to what I wanted and were only interested in selling me a brand new car. Mike at Geoff Cox was very helpful and friendly and made the whole process easy and stress free, he wasn’t at all pushy. I would definitely recommend them to others. I Dont usually like to do reviews, but this company just deserve an excellent review. Yesterday i bought a Peugeot 3008 from Geoff Cox. After a very minor hiccup which was sorted immediately , i found the whole process very easy and satisfactory (which cannot be said of other dealerships i have dealt with), the salesman was not pushy, he was very friendly and helpful as were all the staff. Thanks to them and the mechanics, you were all great.

The next time i need a car, this is the place i will look at first.

Having visited quite a few dealers over the past few weeks, main and independent, I was disappointed overall by the experiences we had. We were ignored, pressure sold(attempted at least), had calls unreturned and people were generally uninterested in our needs. One of the last businesses we visited were Geoff Cox after we saw one of their vehicles advertised on Auto Trader.



From first contact, the salespeople were attentive, helpful and above all, gave us all of the information we wanted. In addition there were some questions that couldn't be answered straight away. We were told that they would get answers and come back to us shortly and shockingly, that is exactly what they did. This was not what we expected based on the previous dealers we had seen.



Following on, we arranged to visit the showroom to look at and test drive the car. The car was ready to go and in a completely un pressured environment we took the car for a drive and loved it. So much so we decided to explore options to purchase.



The price of the car was competitive, the finance rates were excellent too. The salesman listened to our needs and was able to tailor the package to fit our needs exactly.



What more could we do but purchase the car. Even after committing to buy, the guys remained attentive and helpful making sure everything was covered and the car was fully sorted before we collected it.



Unusually for me I have not a single complaint about Alex, our salesman, his colleagues and the dealership as a whole. In fact all we have is praise.This was a big purchase for us and not only do we love the car, the whole experience has been made even more special by Alex and the team at Geoff Cox.



I can wholeheartedly recommend them and in fact already have to friends and colleagues.



Keep up the great work guys because I can tell you that in our recent experience, you are doing all the right things that you should for people and not a lot of other dealers do.

Excellent experience buying from them the best of both worlds you get the great service that comes from family business with the backing of buying from a dealer the big companies that advertise on the telly could learn a thing or two from geoffcox. I needed picking up from the railway station and also asked them to fill the car with petrol as I did not know the area Samuel arranged all of this. Many thanks to Samuel.

Echoing the sentiments of many of the reviewers on here it was a refreshing change to meet a car salesman (Mike) who didn't make you feel like you were in a game of poker when buying a car what he said he did and was a pleasure to deal with car salesmen get bad press so Credit where credits due people are always quick to complain but slow to praise and Mike deserves such praise he was a pleasure to deal with so if you see a car you like on their site get in touch I'm sure you will come away happy from this well established dealership Thanks again Mike

Car buying for me can be a pain. Craig took the pressure out if it and understood that I didn't have time to mess around . He gave me all my options and prices on the model that I wanted . We concluded the deal and promptly I was on my way. Not that local to me but worth the trip.

Bought a Land rover Discovery3 got it home, had problems with binnacle, phoned they said bring it straight back, they had it back three times for different problems, but they they sorted all the problems with no hassle. I got a curtesy car each time and could not have had a better after sales service anywhere, Thank you all a the garage.

After lousy and unprofessional experiences elsewhere, we travelled over 90miles to deal with marvellous Mike! He restored our faith in the industry and sold us our new car too. Honest, reliable and friendly - a great salesman and fellow Yorkshireman. Good price, quick and efficient exchange so we could be back on our way home. Highly recommend Geoff Cox Car sales. In my opinion the way in which my wife and I were treated by this company was absolutely piss poor and unprofessional.4 weeks after showing interest in a second hand car the day finally arrived for the car to be delivered (payed for). Only to be told another excuse as to why we can't finalise the deal and delivery will not be happening. We were past from pillar to post and never got a straight answer from one person.
