Whether you are a beginner to exercise or have been training for years, I can help you achieve your goals and make lifestyle changes that will last forever. Self love is a phrase that is seen a lot these days but do we actually know what it means? For me it is becoming about learning to trust my instincts and to step dwelling on past mistakes. If I don’t trust myself and have nice feelings about myself how can anyone else feel those things about me. I am on a journey to find inner peace and to stop criticising myself and being mean to myself. To feel that I love myself and who I am would be a wonderful place to be. Through meditation and bring more mindful I am learning (very slowly) the tools to be able to achieve this. Maybe one day I will have let past mistakes go and be fully present. For now, I am grateful of the journey that I am on and to those who support me and love me. #meditatetomedicate

I heard or read this yesterday and it has really struck a cord with me. It helps put everything into context and not to worry about the past or the future. Live more in the now. 😘

Inspired by a meal I saw @deliciouslyella making on her stories the other day. Butter beans, mushroom, courgette, cauliflower, couscous, pan fried with garlic and pesto mixed in. Served on a bed of salad leaves. Quick, easy and neat free 🤗

Exercising with kids! Charlie needed to burn some energy this morning and he totally loves his bike. I wanted to get a workout in so we combined both our needs into a run/bike ride. It was pouring with rain but we got out into the woods and had a great time. Of course it’s not at all humiliating when your 6 year old has to wait around for his old mum to catch up! 🤣. It is possible to combine childcare and exercise, just got to find what works. Hoping the sun is shining again in time for the weekend! Now off to dry us both off! 🤗🤪

FULL BODY weighted workout complete! Always making sure that I focus on my movement and where my body is concentrating on form. By doing this not only does it help prevent injury it also is a form of mindfulness as I’m not thinking about all the other stuff in my brain. Just me, my mind and my body working in unison. I did the following: 🥊DB squat and press x 12 🥊Renegade row x 12 🥊Glute bridge with Chest fly’s x 12 🥊Kneeling DB shoulder press x 12... 🥊KB sumo squat x 12 Repeat circuit x 4 Enjoy! 😘

Want to help the environment and keep the kids busy?! Then I highly recommend getting yourself some litter pickers and setting the kids to work. They LOVE it! 🤗

Got to love a tea time hiit session! 15 mins @thebodycoach whilst the tea was cooking and then straight back into mum mode. Feeling a little lighter in my mind and a bit more sweaty 🤗😅

I can whole heartedly confirm this is true. It doesn’t have to be exercise as such, even some housework, gardening or anything. Help yourself to help your mind 😘

That’s me after a run/walk. That summer frizzy hair is back and whilst part of me is totally mortified by it the other half thinks sod it who cares, I’ve been out doing something for me, getting my heart rate up and now I feel fanbloodytastic!! So if you have your insecurities that are stopping you from getting out and actually enjoying exercising remember that most people don’t pay any attention to you and are most probably thinking wow look at her I wish I had the motivation to get going. Be proud of who you are and what you look like 😘😘

Set yourself an intention of doing something kind for someone today. It doesn’t have to be a big gesture but getting used to thinking about others can help get you out of your own headspace and it all being about you. See how helping someone else to have a better day makes you feel. 😘

#mentalhealthawarenessweek. Before run and after run pictures! My husband walked in the door and I literally ran out of the door 🤣. I was feeling very stressed and the boys had been fighting all afternoon so I decided the best thing to do was to get out in nature and run, run, run. I feel sooooo much better now and a huge release. I’m a huge advocate of finding things to do for you and your sanity. It doesn’t have to cost anything or take much time and sometimes you don’t even need to leave your house. Be mindful of your mind and how it’s feeling and do something for it. 😊👍

I miss running and my 30 mins of cardio so I’m trying to build it up again whilst remaining mindful of my injuries and listening to my body. Running is hard, there’s no way to hide that. BUT the benefits for my mental health and brain are unquestionably amazing. It’s cheap, you can’t do it anywhere and anytime. Currently stretching literally feeling the good vibes coursing through my veins. Happy Friday ladies! 😘

New book alert! After listening to this lady on @deliciouslyella podcast I could t wait to order her book. If you can listen to it I would absolutely recommend it. I will let you know how I get on with the book 😁. @drmithustoroni 📚

20 min jog around the woods before the school pick up. I never quite know how pick up is going to go so this little jog in nature is just the set up that I need. It’s got rid of some anxiety and made me feel clearer headed for the kids. Nature is one of the best free forms of therapy. 🦌🌳
