It’s been a very busy few months at Goldwell Granary with guests enjoying the glorious summer...with hardly a drop of rain for weeks! As we near the end of August, the roses are still looking beautiful but it won’t be long before we all curl up with a good book in front of the wood burner! A huge thank you to all my summer guests who left such lovely comments in the visitors book.
The forecast is looking great for my guests who arrive from the USA on Friday.

My lovely guests are enjoying the most glorious weather. 2 live in Barbados and are having a holiday with their parents and catching up with old friends who live nearby, but best of all, they are skyping their dog back in Barbados (with some help from their housesitter of course) Now this I love!

We have just returned from a lovely week spent in Kent at this wonderful property. We can't recommend it highly enough. It is such a delightful cottage and felt like a proper "home from home" with fabulous furnishings set in beautiful countryside. It was lovely to wake up to the birds singing and the cows mooing in the nearby fields. Sue, the owner was so helpful and made us feel so welcome and we would go back in a heart beat smile emoticon and we particularly loved the "local" welcome hamper, it was most thoughtful (especially delicious were the local made biscuits). We particularly loved our room with the Four Poster Bed, really comfortable & relaxing If you want a fabulous week in a high quality establishment, then look no further than this luxury cottage, you won't regret it and it really deserves its 5* rating .
