Chocolate (70% ), chestnut, butter, eggs
Pistachio & Orange Cake
Orange, ground almonds, pistachios, honey
eggs, baking powder
Fig and Ricotta Cake
Butter, sugar, ricotta, eggs, figs, dates
ground almonds, lemon
Ginger Loaf
Treacle, honey, maple syrup, muscavado,
spelt flour, butter, eggs, milk, ginger
Rich Fruit Cake (2lb loaf, glazed)

So just a week ago we were all still in party mode and now we're truly back to normal! But we think there's always a reason to enjoy cake, GoodStuffCakes now operates entirely out of The Branch Cafe in Godalming. Place your order directly with the baker. (Experimental) Soul Cake. Did you know poor children used to go begging from door to door on Halloween? They'd be given Soul Cake in return for saying a prayer to the dead! In doing some research on Halloween origins, myself and the kids decided to make our own take on Soul Cake. Made with ground almonds and honey. A sustaining snack to keep them going through the gruesome evening...HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
