We’re looking for your help with a bit of market research if you can spare a minute of your time?
Would you be interested in the following:
⁃ Savoury items such as sausage rolls or cheese twists etc?... ⁃ Viennoiserie items such as fancy pastries and tarts? ⁃ Hot drinks to take away? ⁃ Bread and pastries available from a bespoke ‘bakery van’ selling from different locations and/or markets?
Please let us know your thoughts below - it all helps!
Thank you 🙂

Our social media has been a bit lacking of late - and here’s the reason. Anyway, he would like to introduce tomorrow’s Saturday Special to you all in advance (credit to his wonderful Auntie & Uncle for the branded vest!) 🙂

All the usual plus some extra goodies to get the wedding party started 👰 🎩

User

What started out as a special treat has to become the regular bread now... nothing else is worth having (and that Milltown sourdough deserves every prize going!)

User

We only just moved to Glossop and having missed the amazing bread from my native Germany for years, I am so happy to have found Grains Bakehouse! Weekend Breakfasts are now AMAZING and the bread lasts and tastes great for so much longer than the weird square stuff in bags that you get in the supermarket. Highly recommended Grains to anyone!

User

We love your shop and your products. Far and wide we have "shared" your posts over the last 6 months. Unfortunately we do not always look ahead on social media. Last Saturday we had intended another Artisan bread and cakes lunch, with friends from Manchester, but now understand that you had a wedding ! Hope you had a good time, and next time we plan a special with friends, we will check ahead !

User

We love the focaccia, they're great for a picnic or lunch. My favourite is the chilli and cheese but my husband loves the chorizo one. A lovely bakery and always greeted with a smiling face.

User

The hot cross buns we just had for breakfast were gorgeous! Great flavour, nice fruit and lovely texture. I have also had the focaccia and the almond croissants from here and I can thoroughly recommend them. Friendly staff and wonderful shop where you can see everything being made right in front of you.

User

The best bread available in the town. The quality of the basic Wholemeal and White bloomer (the best for toast!) has been maintained over many months now. The variety of speciality breads baked means there is always another temptation. Mentioning tempation means I have to add that we love the teacakes, croissants and fruit pastries.

User

The almond pain au chocolat are delicious and my little boy loved his pain au chocolat, the red onion focaccia was also very yummy can't wait to call in again and try some different breads and pastries

User

Surely the most delicious mince pie ever baked!

Wonderful bread and scrumptious, naughty buns, fruit loaves and pastries.

User

So tasty breads! Love them

User

So accommodating, made me a beautiful breakfast soda bread. It was still warm when I picked it up will be a regular when I'm out shopping you just can't beat extremely well made fresh bread

User

Most delicious pastries and breads I've ever eaten and super friendly staff who go out of their way for you. I wanted pastries for breakfast on the morning of my wedding and Grains prepared a beautiful selection for us ready to pick up early in the morning. They went down a treat!

User

Love it! I want to buy one of everything when I go in. I will be getting all my bread from here from now on. It tastes so fresh.

I find it handy to shop at aldi and then just nip round the corner for my bread without having to park again

User

Knowing looks from other shoppers as you stroll up the high street clutching your plain white paper parcels....easily the tastiest bread I've had in a long time. Thank you!

User

I absolutely love this place - ashamed to admit I do 99% of my shopping at Tesco because it's easier but go out of my way to buy bread from here every Saturday - always lovely and the almond croissants are enough to cheer your day up

User

First visit today but won't be my last got pan au chocolate's literally melted in my mouth gorgeous!! And a lovely loaf to have with tea later yum defo go and see Jen & James something for everyone X

User

First time we have had bread from this shop and it definitely won't be the last. Crusty baguette was gorgeous and had a peppery flavour to it. Bought a chilli foccocia too can't wait to try that. Will definitely be back for more. 5*

User

Finally got to try those amazing almond mince pies. They are amazing. The party was so crisp and sweet. So much better than any I have tried else where.

Sour dough is also lovely and perfect with soup and chicken salad sandwiches.

User

Delicious and beautifully made Sourdough, an excellent array of loaves, morning rolls and croissant that demands your attention. If we had a bakery such as this in Whaley Bridge, the world would be a much better place. #staffoflife

User

Cheese and Cumin bread so irresistible I ate 1/3 of it with my hands in the car on my way home. Gorgeous. First visit of many I suspect. Could have bought one of everything. Will definitely be going back soon.
