Greenacres Equestrian Riding School – Covid-19 update
The British Horse Society (BHS) have issued revised guidelines to approved riding schools, based on current Government advice. Riding schools CAN continue to provide lessons and coaching ensuring that the following procedures are in place: • Anyone showing symptoms of Covid-19 virus, or are in the at risk category, should self-isolate • Staff and customers to follow strict hygiene procedures, observing social distancing pr...actices • Lesson content adapted to minimise risk and be confined to flat work only. • Lesson numbers to be reduced in size
Greenacres Equestrian Riding School will continue to provide group or individual lessons on Wednesday evenings from 4pm to 8pm and at weekends starting at 9.30am. The revised timetable and operating procedures will be posted on our face book page early next week. There may also be the opportunity for our regular customers to lease a horse or pony on a weekly/monthly agreement for leisure riding. Sophie O’Connor will be happy to discuss details and terms with interested customers. This is a fast moving situation we are all facing, so the advice may change at any time. We will keep you informed via our face book page of any relevant changes.
