Went on 24th March 2018 4 adults arrived at 4pm shown to table straight away, ordered drinks arrived promptly and good not far behind, food was fantastic would highly recommend. In fact we are on route to Maidstone now and plan to go for dinner with our kids here later on today.

Stopped here on the way to an event for food with my two girls and a friend.

The service was friendly and speedy. The food was tasty and very reasonable price.

My wife and I took the kids for dinner on Sunday. We turned up without booking. Although they had no room in the restaurant, they made us feel very welcome and suggested that we ate in the pub and just ordered at the bar which we did. We found a lovely seat and ordered. The barmaid that served me was so helpful and welcoming, accommodating our requests easily. When the food came out, what can I say but “wow”. The kids loved the kids meals they had. My wife enjoyed her roast beef. I had the ultimate roast pork loin which was amazing and cooked brilliantly. Puddings were yummy too. My wife and I have both agreed that we will be back.

Had my birthday meal here this evening and it was perfect. Emily the manager was very friendly and helped the kids to bring out my birthday cake as they insisted to do it themselves. All the table was decorated when we arrived, the food was great, for a table of 12 it was also really quick. The waitress was attentive and was great with the kids as well! Couldn’t ask for anything more! �

Had an excellent meal with great service, 14/5/18. Everyone welcoming and polite and when they learnt it was our anniversary they even bought us balloons and a candle which we thought was a really lovely touch. I love the new look of place, we have used it before and if anything I'd say the food was better than before in my feeling, everything was bought out together and the food was hot and cooked exactly as we asked. They also served a dessert, as only one of us wanted one whilst the other finished their meal, at our request as this suited us, and they had no issue with our choice of timing at all. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Krisztina who's adorable! The menu has changed but I think it's a good change with something for everyone and when I asked for a couple of changes to that listed on the menu it wasn't a problem at all and came out exactly as requested. We will definitely return even though it's not the closest eatery to us, we just really enjoy it! Thank you

We just want a quick Sunday lunch although I didn’t want a roast but my partner did. Good menus and staff very helpful. Overall good experience & will go back again 👍

Visited yesterday from South Africa and had to have the very English fish and chips. It was delicious. Add to that an ice cold beer and beautiful sunny weather. Happy memories made!

Had a very nice meal on Wednesday lovely gammon steaks and chips best I’ve had nice and crispy, cheese board for one also very good. Others in party had fish and chips and Eton mess for dessert. No complaints at all. We go every month and it has improved steadily since revamp good menu.

Went for first time since refurb yesterday(sunday)got seated straight away at 4.50pm,drinks came about 10mins later(not bad seeing as they was busy)young girl took our order and was expecting a 30min(ish) wait,2other tables arrived,ordered and they're food arrived???over an hr later we complained and was told the kitchen was busy I then mentioned that the other 2tables came in after us and they had nearly finished their food,finally get told our order had been forgotten(did feel sorry for the young girl as it was only her 2nd time on the floor)manageress then apologised profusely and said ours was next,ended up just paying for the meals and all drinks where free,food was lovely when it finally arrived but wont be going back in a hurry.

Was good place to go for my dad's birthday, arrived on site and was taken to our table promptly given the menu and order our starters and main starters arrives and was lovely good quality for price, mains came out at a good speed that is where the good feedback stops was given our desert menu then waited over 10 minuets for the waitress to come back and take our order we gave her our dessert and drink order at the same time dessert cam out quickly but the drink did not arrive at our table for about like another 10 minuets and one of them could not be drunk until I removed the cap myself luckily as a barman and waiter myself I had my speed plate in my pocket ( bottle opener ) then we could enjoy that drink.



I felt like that the staff was not really paying attention to there customers as I was sitting at my table with empty plates In front of myself after I had finished my mains for about 15 minuets, and they do not seem to care as constantly saw them talking to each other and not worrying about there customers, I also think that staff training is not up to date as they did not know what went with each dish on the dessert menu as they had taken our order but then returned to then ask what we would like with our dessert and that they also was not aware what was not available



Overall I do not thinik I will be returning here in a hurry as can get better service else where

Today , second day of new menu.... No chicken, main new item. No sea bass, no fish pie , no chicken burger. Poor show guys . Yes we received a sorry, but that doesn't help when the two choices you make are not available. Ended up with something I didn't really want. Thank you for the voucher for free dessert, sadly we had to ask where they were. Mine arrived cold and accompanied with a SOUP spoon. I had to ask they clear the dirty plates too. Not impressed tonight �

Sunday Roast with frozen Roast Potatoes always a No No! Small portion of meat! Not very tasty! Reasonably priced though for what it was but would pay more for better quality! Don’t get the small portions when vegetables are so cheap but seems to be the norm in all Pubs lately! Would probably pop in after shopping for a meal but wouldn’t recommend!

We came here for my birthday meal this evening and was hugely disappointed. First time visiting since the refurbishment and it hasn’t improved at all. We preferred the old 2 for 10 menu, the food was much better and bigger portions before the refurb. We won’t be revisiting and wouldn’t recommend.

Sadly not very impressed. Waited a long time for light lunch food but when it arrived chips were cold, and filling for jacket potato was solidified on the plate. Couldn’t be bothered to complain as anticipated another long wait to get it sorted so we made do. Over the years visits there have always encountered poor service, long waiting times and restricted menus. Obviously refurbishment hasn’t improved the problems. Suggest they need to go back to the drawing board. Won’t be going there again in a hurry.

Went here a few weeks ago. For my brothers and friends birthday meal. It wasn't busy. We Had to wait forever for drinks. And food was awful. One of my

Friends ordered a mushroom and Stilton starter came with no Stilton. The mains we're discussing a friend ordered lasagna I made one of the waitress send it back she tutted and when it was brought back out it was just re-plated and they put more cheese on it to hide the mess of it. Will never be going back to this restaurant again!! I think you need to re think your member and staff and people that work in your kitchen.

We noticed there had been a revamp so thought would give it a try.

Sad to say we are not impressed, drinks took about 20 mins to come out... (they was not that busy at the bar, so not sure why it took so long?)



When the food finally came out after a very long wait, I asked for some extra garlic and parsley butter for my steak... the lady wasn’t sure I could have extra until I stated that I was happy to pay extra for this. She then told me she will go get it right away.... so I waited and waited (food going cold)... and no butter appeared. So I gave up waiting and eat my dinner.



Sad to say I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Popped in on a Sunday for breakfast with my wife, first had a slight slip up at the till when I was charged for someone’s else’s bill, the mistake was corrected and I know these things happen so thought no big deal, we then waited 1/2 an hour for a big breakfast and a Pate which meant our coffees were now stone cold, when the food did arrive it looked good except my wife immediately found what she thought was a shard of glass in her Pate, I spoke to the waitress who seemed more interested in pointing out that it was plastic and not glass and seemingly missing the point that it shouldn’t have been in the Pate in the first place! , we waited another 10 minutes while the Pate was changed but when returning the waitress again felt the first thing she should say is that it was plastic and not glass.....really missing the point now, I was then encouraged to complain to Emily, I had said nothing about complaining so this was a bizarre statement but clearly what she had been told to say, whoever Emily is she didn’t have the decency to actually come and speak to me herself, shit service won’t be back

Food was disgusting and items missing, also asked for no mayo in burger and it came with loads in. Girl on front desk was rude. Sat on round table at bottom of stairs and where there’s children’s toy machines kids messing around and pushing into me the whole meal. Hadn’t been there for over a year but heard of the revamp so thought I’d give it a go. Wish I hadn’t now. Still as bad as ever.

Currently sat here and I’ve ordered two separate meals off the menu... neither of which they have, so now I have to sit here and not eat while my family have a meal. Absolutely ridiculous. How can they not have the ingredients for a chicken and bacon Caesar salad or a burger. Pathetic.
