We have had the following message from the Dorking Film Festival
"We're showing a documentary about Rob Walker - First & Last: Rob Walker - at our event on Saturday 23 March.
The documentary we're showing was made by the motorsport filmmaker Paul Hargreaves in the late 1980s. It consists of an interview with Walker, interspersed with period footage including input from Stirling Moss and Innes Ireland, where he discusses his life and passion for racing.

Call to arms for marshals for the Scally! Ideally we need the following:- 1 crew to do TC4 & TC10. 2 other individuals/crews to do just 1 control (TC's 5&6). And a crew to run as course closer collecting codeboards.... I had an offer from a gentleman from Cranleigh Motor Club but the message my wife took has gone missing and It didn't have his number on it anyway! This is the Sunbeam Tiger 7734 KV, the first picture is from October 1971 and was taken at Thruxton and the second picture is from the Goodwood Revival in September this year. It has changed colour in the intervening years.

Guildford Motor Club is sad to announce that its last founding member David Roscoe died peacefully at home in Kingswear, Devon on October 20, 2018 aged 87.
