Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha - Slough Description
History
The Sri Guru Singh Sabha opened in April 1976 and was the first Sikh Temple in Slough. Prior to this, services had been held in the Barn Restaurant, Salt Hill Park.
The Sri Guru Singh Sabha was built on land which had been leased from Slough Corporation and had cost over £70, 000 to build. The money needed was raised entirely through donations. The official opening ceremony was preceded by a procession from Salt Hill Park, which was headed by an open truck carrying a priest, the holy scriptures and 5 sword-carrying Sikhs.
Guests of honour at the ceremony included Mayor Ron Peters, local MP Miss Joan Lester, and national Hindu leaders.

Slough Summer Khalsa Camp registration this Sunday 10am to 12pm and next Wed evening 7pm to 8pm at Khalsa Primary School Slough. Limited spaces available for all from 6 years to 18 years. Please inform family and friends to come and register.
Slough Summer Khalsa Camp 2018 will be taking place from Mon 30th July to Thurs 2nd Aug at Khalsa Primary School Slough for everyone from the age of 6 to 18 years. This year the Khalsa Camp is being done jointly by the Slough Sikh School Trust and Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Slough.
Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Slough will be sponsoring the campers who wish to attend the beach trip on Fri 3rd Aug. Camp fee is £20 per person.
For the very first time we will be having pain...tballing on site during the camp which is very expensive and just to cover this cost alone an additional £5 per person will be chargeable for those who wish to take part in this optional activity.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Gurmat Chetna Smagam coming this weekend to Singh Sabha Slough Gurdwara. Many prominent Kirtanees, Kathavachaks and Parcharaks from around the world attending. Also the 1978 Amritsar Exhibition will be present throughout the Smagam.

Shri Guru Singh Sabha is where I went ..... stayed 7 days a week after school.... stayed upto 72 hours at weekend waking the priests up. There's 2 more built after that, but nothing takes away the magic of Shri Guru Singh Sabha
It's very peacefull you can go anytime to visit and feel peace of mind, Waheguru ji bless me, Waheguru ji ka Khalsha, Shri Waheguru ji ki fatehÔøΩÔøΩ
Guru ghar is a place where get peace of mind. I like to go there in my home town.
