had my hair coloured by the lovely tarla in fareham and looked after by freya lovely friendly staff and teacher kerry is wonderful .

Wow!!! Fantastic haircut with Charlotte! Great consultation meant she gave me the exact haircut I wanted! So happy with the service I've made my next appointment for the full works

So happy to be back with haha on the new standards, I feel I get the best intense training with the opportunity to tailor my learning to myself. I love the fact that we have small classes as I feel like it works best to have a smaller group for more learning thank you to gill and my amazing teacher Keri!

Love going to HAHA the girls are really friendly. Laura does my hair and she puts up with a lot. I never know what I want her to do but we figure it out. Love the new colour combination of Egg Plant & Violet. Might just be my new favourite.

I'm not a girly girl so was always put off going in Salon's but I love coming here to have my hair cut and coloured everyone is so welcoming and friendly and the quality of hairdressing is fantastic.

I have loved every visit to ha ha, friendly welcoming staff and have always walked out with great results.

Fantastic team, anybody thinking of changing their hair colour I highly recommend ha ha

Hahah has got to be my absolute favourite hair dressers. My mum and I both go there and every time we are there they always do a fantastic job. Daisy my hairdresser coloured my hair today and I literally could not be happier she's done such a fantastic job.

It's hard to find someone who you can trust especially with hair because everyone sees it every day and if you don't like it you gonna keep it up all the time but I have so much faith in Daisy and she has never let me down. Cannot wait for my next hair appointment �����

Had my hair cut by Molly today, first time I've been to Ha ha Salon and I loved it.

The girls are friendly and I've got an amazing new and much needed hair cut.

I will definitely be going back for regular cuts.

Had Highlights by Katie today in the North End Branch. Really pleased with the result, I usually go somewhere expensive , They really train the girls well here, highly recommended .

First time I've stepped foot in this place and I'm pleased to say, that I'll definitely be returning. On my arrival, I walked in to a very warm welcome. I asked for plaits and they were done to perfection, by Jess. She done an amazing job and I'm very happy with my plaits. Thank you Jess. I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic training great prices great team really made my staff feel welcome and comfortable and provided an excellent training standard very professional would highly recommend.

Extremely happy with my hair after every visit to the salon. Very friendly, but yet professional, staff. Thank you HaHa!

Daisy gave me her full attention did a brilliant job on the colour. Talked me through the cut so I got exactly what I wanted

Charlotte cut mine and my daughters hair and did a fantastic job! Very relaxed salon with really friendly staff!! Also very patient with my very bored 4year old waiting for us to be done thank you xxx

Booked in for a cut and colour with Daisy. Having recently had a baby my hair has absolutely gone to pot. It was a thick mess with random colour and greys to cover as well. Daisy was fantastic. She listened to me and gave me suggestions and was really sweet as well. Where a bit of the colour hasn't developed quite right (due to my own hair rather than anything that had been done technically) she went out of her way to rectify it and gave excellent customer service. I've been searching high and low for a regular hairdresser. Something I've not managed to find in 8 years. I can safely say my search is over and Daisy had my ongoing business from now on. Thanks for making this frumpy mum feel pretty again xxx

Amazing 1 to 1 training today with Sue on the Isle of Wight! Would recommend to anyone wanted to do hairdressing! so good to do in-salon training aswell xxx

Right, where shall I start??



I’ve been with the company for 2 years... and it has been hell! Where at the start it was okay!! Then it all changed.

I was studying ladies hair, then was offered a job at “ The Lab “ in Titchfield... where I met such a lovely girl called Chloe, we became such good friends and it was amazing. I actually looked forward getting up and going to work, even though it was a pain to get to in the morning. It was a new business so we were sat around quite a lot! Cleaned about 10 times a day. Looking out the window feeling lost. We started to get regulars in and it was so nice to have such good conversations with them.

Me being an apprentice I had to get change... which is a fair point! But driving into Fareham to the bank wasn’t? Also getting a parking ticket with no help in return from anyone. Me and Chloe were left to run the shop! ( both apprentices at the time ) which I believe we had to have an adult ( fully qualified ) to watch over us. But it was fine everything ran smoothly anyway.

So I was on an apprenticeship... but not once did a Teacher come out to me and teach me barbering ( that I signed up for ) chloe the apprentice ( that has trained for many years ) taught me the basics. We both had enough and threw in the towel. Then moved on to our next adventure Mr Edwards which was a high class Salon / Barbers, I again wasn’t given any training, the gent at Mr Edwards booked 2 hours on a Thursday out to train me and get models in... meant a loss in the Barbers because my training provider couldn’t provide me the training needed for my course.

Again time went on... i enjoyed my time at Mr Edwards but unfortunately they couldn’t keep me on any longer... so again I moved on, went to a barber shop in Porstmouth called L.A Barbers where I learned ALOT! From being thown into the deep end on the shop floor... which is what I asked for... the owner of L.A Barbers was such a lovely lady and helped me through a lot with barbering, and I gained so much confidence. My teacher that came out to me to do exams ( not training ) left me don’t really know why. So I was taken over by a lovely lady called Shelia which she as the only one that got me though the course helped me with corse work etc etc. Which I was rather grateful for!

I suppose I better finish the story basically my experience was hell,

Oh and I’ve finally picked my certificates after waiting 4 months... ( I rang city and guilds they informed me that I should only have waited 2 weeks )



I’ll leave it here, In my opinion if you are looking to train in Hairdressing then I hope you take my opinion into account and consider all training providers.
