Come and try our fishing at Hargate hill equestrian centre. Open from 6am till 9pm 7 days a week. We have on site parking right next to the ponds. We also have toilets and a cafe open 6 days a week Tuesday to Sunday. Look forward to seeing you all

went for the fishing it was my first time here didn't know what to expect but all I can say is wow my mate fish pole ( corn pellet ) caught well over 100lb of silvers ( bream roach skimmers) I fished method feeder to island and fishing was slow but had a few carp 6 to 8lb then switched to pellet waggler conditions wasn't the best but it smashed it 30+ carp witch was well above my expectations great place definitely coming back plus all facilities, cafe , toilets and everyone very very polite

Started lessons with Helen in February and throughly enjoying it. Lessons are well structured, constructive and supportive feedback is given. The horses are genuine and rewarding to ride and the facilities some of the best I have seen. I look forward to my lessons and feel I take away some extra knowledge each time.

My son Lewis went for a riding lesson for the first time the other day and has booked again at weekend and is doing pony day in the holidays, the staff were really helpful and nice and the grounds are beautiful, I would defiantly recommend coming here it lovely xx�

Lovely place. Used to have horses till recently. But went for the fishing so i was getting the best off both. Fishing was very slow but nice pools. Would go again. Maybe i should leave my sons card. He is a farrier and live not too far ☺ 👍🎣🏇🐎

Lovely centre with all ranges of beautiful horses. The staff really know their stuff, they work me hard every week. Would recommend to anyone.

I have a riding lesson every week with Helen and she's brilliant. I've progressed so much over the year and it's all down to Helen's observation and guidance. She's great at explaining how to improve my balance and posture and explaining what works from the horse's perspective. I'd definitely recommend her as a teacher. In general I find the facilities at Hargate good, the school ponies are lovely and the grounds are beautiful.

Hargate Hill is a beautiful place to walk through even if you don't have horses. We frequently walk through the grounds and everyone is so lovely and in the day you can even get a brew from the cafe x

Great lesson from Danielle. Rode Lucky who was interesting too big but I'm allowed something smaller next time . Fantastic facilities....well worth a visit .

Fantastic facilities - warm shower room, solarium, several arenas including jump School, indoor school, covered horse walker, beautiful solid stables inside blocks, personal tack room per stable, daily delivery and livery service and a great cafe! �

Easy access to beautiful scenery. Circular walking route for a pleasant stroll. Cafe available. Well worth a visit especially with children to see the horses, owls etc

Currently enjoying lessons with Helen, absolutely fantastic teacher, so far tried 3 lovely horses all different from each other but very good. Riding is not only really good fun here but also learning so much I reckon I really improve quite quickly. Can't wait to go back

Bought my mare out of the riding school- really honest and genuine sale, helped with transport and also gave me a 6 week warranty. Staff were friendly and still in touch with them now

After moving to the area in Dec 2017, Hargate Hill quickly became my second home. The quality of instruction, the friendliness of the staff and the immaculate condition of the horses and the yard are the best I’ve found since I started riding again last year. Emma has completely transformed my riding through private and group lessons. The newly reopened cafe provides a good range of food and hot/drinks and is always well stocked. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, fantastic patient instructors and well loved ponies and horses. Lovely clean, well kept yard and great facilities. My young sons have been riding for about 9 months and have happily come on leaps and bounds with lovely Emma. I myself started riding again after a few years break. Helen my instructor is fab, and has helped me find my mojo again. Cannot thank them enough.

Friendly staff : horses seemed happy and well cared, staff seemed to be enjoying their work and riders also enjoying themselves. A good afternoon.
