Good afternoon, We still have a couple of spaces for night sessions tonight and tomorrow on both Nick’s and Bramley lakes . Take advantage of pretty near perfect carp fishing conditions, at the moment we have a nice band of low pressure moving over no better excuse to get them rods out!
Also a few lake updates
... Reservoir is fishing better and better as the weeks go by more and more captures being reported across the upper layers as well as the deeper areas.
Nick’s lake is really coming to life now and the fish are showing all over the lake, a couple did a session beginning of last week with no less than 6 fish landed between them in the first 18hours.
Bramley lake is also starting to wake up now as more capture reports come in. All swims and paths have now been re barked.
Finches, reports of good size tench starting to appear one visitor reporting he had every species in the lake in just a 3 hour afternoon session last week.
Pear-tree lake has been fishing really well for both the match and leisure anglers also all swims have now been fully re barked.
All enquiries can be made through our Facebook messenger or direct with our bailiff on 07703825064

User

A 21.5lb hard fighting common for Jay. " A tough session on thus day night in cold wet and very windy conditions, this one fell to the Nash Scopex squid cultured hook bait with a yellow topper and a scattering of 15mm scopex boilie"

User

Well on arriving was greeted by a fishery having a revamp around the lakes, good idea maybe only time will tell if it works , hope it does. Fishing a match with warlingham club, great club and great bunch of lads. Peg for day was on the far left bank with end of island to my left. On previous visits this side has not fished that well but fish swim about don't they. My peg now has had all the brambles removed which makes it a lot easier shipping ur pole. Fed long short and started on the tip to island. While lads either side of me caught straight off I didn't get a sniff for first hour. Out onto long at 12metres and stared picking up skimmers but only 4oz ones. Had a couple of small carp after a while but well behind others . Back on the tip and whack , straight round and the first of several small carp were going into my net. First gripe is I Noticed Paul on peg to my right got hooked up on some line hanging from tree which came back 3/4 across lake with his fish caught on it, pulled for break and lost everything , this happened a few times as wind would blow line around his swim. Next up gripe 2, tip goes round hook carp and then up comes fish caught round some line in my swim, this line was 20-30ft length attached to island , lost fish and 4 feeders to this line. If I wasn't close to island tip stayed still so took the chance and kept tight to it and got most of the fish in. If fisheries have islands which we all love I think they should trim them up and keep a check on them for sort of thing as its not good advert for them and not good for fish or anglers . Top weight that day 126lb , me 64lb, no money but enjoyed day out with lads. Cheers

User

Spent yesterday fishing The Res the carp were on a feeding frenzy lost count but must have caught over 30 all caught on corn in the edge

User

Lots of fish in all the waters on the fishery so will keep you busy catching all day

User

Just got back from my second session on bramley. Both sessions have I had many takes and both sessions landed a 20lb+ with plenty of back up doubles. These fish don't ever seem to give up. Great sport. Great clean fishery will be back soon.

User

I fished Bramley with a pal on a 48 hrs sesh. I’ve gotta say it’s a lovely developing water with good depth, deep margins and some shallower areas. The weather was hot, super hot and having only landed two fish of 10 and 18ib it was a little disappointing but expected.

The venue itself is well managed, super clean and tidy and well bailiffed. The pathways are clear and wide enough to navigate with a loaded barrow and there’s plenty of space on each peg. The pegs are suitably spaced, there are some nuisance young trees behind some pegs that hinder casting. My one gripe (and only because I’m spoilt and came ill prepared) was the lack of toilet and fresh water facilities on site. The one toilet I could see was not nice! - I understood from the young bailiff George that this all in hand and on the to do list. Top of I hope!

Communication with the team via Facebook messenger was sound and I’ve got to say hats off to the new owners, given time the fishery will be one to be rivalled again. I’ll go back for sure and fish another session on Bramley when it’s a little cooler in the hope that some of the bigger fish fall to my offerings!

All in all an enjoyable sesh and Thank you Harleylands fisheries for having us!

User

Has potential to be one of the top fisheries in Kent very well run and looking forward to bramley opening

User

Hartley lands is a great fishery with lots of different size fish a good fishery to catch a lot of fishing too some smaller but some big as well good for match fishing because there is lots of single figure fish to so a good all round fishery

User

Hartley is an absolutely stunning fishing complex. A big reservoir, three lakes a specimen lake soon to open and 4 ponds all of which present a different challenge. All lakes and ponds will provide great fun for beginners to experienced match fishermen to absolute carp freaks like me!

If this is your first trip and there isn't a match on, head to Nicks. Absolutely sergio with carp. Bigger baits catch the bigger fish, simple really! Obey the rules for the benefit of the fish, some of the carp I've caught are in absolute A1 condition and I'm sure we'd like to keep it that way so everyone can enjoy them on another day.

Hartley's bailiff Bill is an absolute gentleman and full of knowledge as to where and how to fish the lakes. Any questions he will be happy to answer.

There are more well known fisheries in the SE, but in my opinion and my continued pilgrimage proves it, I'd rather drive an extra 10miles from Maidstone to this great venue than anywhere else in the SE.

Bring on the specialist lake!

User

Hartley is a great place to fish never failed to catch only thing I would say is that the swims need looking after better as they are very boggy and need levelling out as the condition of the swims puts people of apart from that it's a great place to fish and very friendly staff

User

Hartley is a fantastic place to fish been coming here for the last 5 years and in that time I have never drawn a blank and it's right on my doorstep so even better,

User

Great place to fish and teach my son how to fish. Never had a bad day there.

User

Great days fishing on Pear Tree, lost count of the amount of carp i caught. Non stop action all day.

User

Fished finches with my wife caught golden orfe, blue orfe, tench to 3lb, carp to 5lb and etch to 2lb

User

Decided to take my brother fishing he has not finished for 30 years so of the old school Tiddler bashing when we arrived at Hartleylands farm which I have fished many many times I decided to treat him to a day on the reservoir lake I was amazed I haven't been there for three months and the amount of work that is done around the lake side is unbelievable the place look neat & tidy all the swims have been cleaned up bushes cut right back and snags removed from all waters age not to mention the trees & grass has all been cut right back so casting is easy. Spoke to the bailiff and he and one other Bailiff had done all this in the last three months amazing please keep up the good work and now start on nicks lake.

User

Big thanks to all for a good days surface fishing with a cheeky few from the margins ( thanks to the bailiff)

User

An Absolute Gem, My Personal Favourite Place, peaceful and beautiful, something for every type of match angler

User

A bit hard to spot from the road, because the main sign is covered in mud and dirt from passing traffic. However, once inside there is easy parking at two small car parks. I chose the reservoir lake, after chatting to the fellow who owns this fishery, as well as Kent Tackle, apparently.

There's a lot of improvement work in progress, joining a couple of lakes together, and some restocking to be done.

I chatted at length with a bailiff and some regular customers, and they were most helpful and friendly, managed to put me right on the fish, albeit later in the afternoon. This resulted in a catch of 4 assorted carp from 6 to 12 lbs, all caught on punched bread. They didn't seem to like my Marukyu boilies at all!

A thoroughly enjoyable day at a neat and tidy fishery. Looking forward to going again soon.

User

Took my dad 81 to fish nicks , parking was close to the lake and the fishing was excellent. Only downside the swims need a bit of work ie matting or woodchip all said though a good days fishing well worth a visit

User

Good place to get a bend in the rod. Shame about the condition of some of the fishes mouths

Took my dad 81 to fish nicks , parking was close to the lake and the fishing was excellent. Only downside the swims need a bit of work ie matting or woodchip all said though a good days fishing well worth a visit

Good place to get a bend in the rod. Shame about the condition of some of the fishes mouths
