A beautiful day at Hartwell Farm today. The kitten was enjoying exploring but we are missing our swimmers so much. Its been a very quiet few days with no excited youngsters skipping about. We all hope you remain safe and healthy and we look forward to the day we can welcome you all back. (We think the kitten will probably have grown a bit by then)

An amazing set of swimmers in the pool tonight! William was very nervous just a month ago. Today he smashed his 5m distance. Freddie has never completed a distance yet, but swam a spectacular 25m all on his own. Still in Reception, Buddy swam a magnificent 10m. Finally Katie got her 20m distance after just swimming with us for half a term. Parents and carers were delighted and everyone wants to thank Hope and Sarah who are 'simply, the best' swim tutors!
Gracie managed to swim 10m last week in her 121 swimming lesson. Still only 4 years old. What a Star!
Children from Cranfield Church of England Academy have been enjoying our wonderful woodland at Hartwell Farm as part of their outdoor learning curriculum this week. A great start to the new term!
Swimming starts tomorrow for the new term. We still have lesson availability in baby and toddler sessions at certain times as well as Aqua Fit. But booking fast. Be quick!
What can a few 121 Swim lessons do? Elliott got his 25m after some intensive sessions with his swim teacher. He is now ready to go into group lessons feeling a whole lot more confident. Well Done!
Congratulations to Ben and William for doing so well on the half term Crash Course. Ben could not swim at all on Monday but by Wednesday he could swim 5m. More Crash Courses will be available over Easter.

Amazing swimming today from Freddie. Only just 4 years old and has completed his 5 metre distance swim!
New equipment for the new term starting Monday Feb 24th. Sinkers to dive for!
Baby and toddler places still available but filling fast. Don't forget your little one will need a Happy Nappy before they swim with us if they are still in nappies.

Many of our swimmers will recognise Sarah; she is a brilliant Swim teacher here at Hartwell Farm. However she is also an amazing open water swimmer herself and she has set herself the ultimate challenge this year. She is tackling the English Channel in August! This is a huge achievement if she pulls it off and we all know she will give it her best shot. It will take her anything between 7 hours and 28 hours to cover the 21 miles (depending on the current). Probably more worry...ing, though, is the Channel is one of the busiest stretches of water in the world; 600 tankers and 200 ferries sail daily along it. Sarah will join an auspicious group including David Walliams and 1,831 other brave individuals, since 1875, who have completed the crossing. We would like to wish Sarah loads of luck in her training. Please don't forget to wish her well next time you see her at the pool! We are SO proud of all of our dedicated teachers here at Hartwell.
