we love to go there every time we go on holiday in Margate, always good food and friendly staff. Especially this time our waiter ADAM was great and very friendly.

Was good to see a busy restaurant! Given a table straight away, and was handed the allergen folder immediately when asked. Was served by Adam, who was very friendly and helpful. The salad bar was full, the rolls fresh from the oven. Our meals came out on hot plates, food was cooked exactly to our requirements. It's taken us a long time to come back, but glad we did!

Must admit I do love a good Harvester! The ribs are so juicy and the best around � Never had a bad experience here and have also became friends with some of the staff over the years. Dan, Debbie and Amber are my favourites! They're always very welcoming and they try their very best to keep everyone happy. Xx

Had an excellent evening tonight with the family of 10, excellent food & service with a magician at the table , who later taught my granddaughter how to perform a trick , thank you we will be back

Great staff always friendly and really helpful flossy Ashley Chloe and of course Amber who is the life and soul of the party and makes us smile every visit. Your restaurant would not be the same without these 4 they are exceptional, I would personally higher them in any instant. Excellent work.

Fun for adults and all the kids, took my dad here for fathers day! Food was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Will be coming back!

Came in this evening for dinner with my mum and daughter. We were greeted at the door by an exceptionally friendly and welcoming man named Dan. We were seated straight away and our drink orders were taken. The salad bar was well stocked and our main came out quick and was absolutely delicious, we all cleared our plates! All the staff were polite, friendly and extremely attentive. We will definitely be returning in the near future �

Our First visit and on first impressions we would visit again, nice warm welcome from whom I assume was the manager, good service all round , salad bar lovely and fresh and regularly topped up. Staff ( especially Chloe) all friendly and the place was very clean. Thank you all for a lovely evening and we would highly recommend !!

Can't fault the meal and service but the toilets where not looked after at all.

My son tried all the toilets and not one of them had any paper in them.

He was then directed to a 2nd set of toilets and again no paper.

All we got from an explanation was! Well, they were filled up this morning?

Surely, do they not do checks throughout the day.

Me and my friend went yesterday as we both enjoy the salad bar x we were seated straight away the waiter came and asked us if we would like to order x we wernt ready so he came back x it took me a while to decide but when we went to order there was no rotisserie chicken now had we been told that when we had been seated it would have been OK. The waiter then forgot to bring our glasses for our drinks so I went to the bar to get them as we had started our salads and was not offered an apology. Now for the salad bar x it was a bit messy but the thing was the condiment bit with the bacon pieces was empty and had nothing in it. I brought this to the attention of one of the staff and apparently there was no salad chef on the rota on on a busy Sunday lunchtime. I then tried to get some salt after 5 attempts 4 were empty the waitress managed to find one that worked of sorts. Now this is not as they were busy earlier these fundamental things should be checked on a daily basis when the business is quiet. The staff there seem to be run off their feet and need some direction. I wanted to get in there and train the staff as they don't seem to have the direction needed to do their job.

Took ages to get served even though they were quiet. Never cleared starters away and then tried to squeeze on mains. One of dinners was ordered with a sauce which they didn’t have but never said Till good was out, so they had to wait for that. All meals were cold and really average. We did complain and some money was taken off the bill which to be fair they didn’t have to do . Harvester definitely not what it used to be and won’t be going back

Today (Boxing day). Myself and 15 family members. Came to eat here with a booking that we had booked a month in advance and paid for in advance. Each and everyone of us were disgusted with the quality of the food.. We had a phone call earlier on in the morning saying they had run out of Turkey, which is unacceptable considering we had all paid for a boxing day Christmas dinner. The pigs in blankets came out burnt, in fact that were so burnt they was black. I ordered mashed potato for my 3 year old son for it to be presented to him like prison food. It had finger marks imprinted into it. After taking to back myself to the chef and asking politely to be redone, it was then returned on the same plate and the same mash only to be mashed with a Fork in the kitchen and brought back.. The waitress then tells me the mash came out of a bag. The veg was served to us frozen, the roast potatoes were not home made and the cranberry sauce was more like jam.. how can you have fully trained chefs serving slop like this.. this is totally disgraceful and unacceptable. I will be spreading the news to everyone I know to boycott this so called restaurant..

The lady who served us was nice enough however the food was so poor. 7oz gammon that was tough and chewy well what meat there was on it, chips were swimming in grease and had gone brown and soggy. My daughter had fish fingers that were solid barely any fish in them and my mums dinner was pretty much the same as mine. In general it was a very poor experience and we wont be returning.

Stood for ages for someone to show us to a table, when we finished our meal and had a drink waitress came over and said do you want the bill my said no not yet waitress rolled her eyes and her and another lad kept looking over at us like I wish they would hurry up and go felt very rushed like we had to hurry up use to like the harvester gone down hill they have lost 2 customers will never go there again.

Right at the moment im sitting in the restaurant ignored by ALL waiters just to find out that not all tables are served as they‘re not open yet. Maybe it would be an idea to tell this guest before they sit down which would require a waiter at the entrance. Super unfriendly staff that definitely needs training in service and friendliness.

I booked a table for my birthday for my family of 8. We were shown to our table by an uninterested, miserable looking lady then left sitting without a server for about 15 min. I went to talk to 2 servers who were completely ingnoring us to ask to be at least served drinks. A very nice chap turned up complaining that none of his colleagues were helping him. The evening got better from then but Harvester in Broadstairs has had back publicity about hygiene but we've tried them again a couple of times and been pleased. I won't be going back. Sadly I don't think they care.

Considering it got a 0 food hygiene rating a little while ago, you would think they would be on top of everything and have regular inspections? It wasn't very busy but still took a while for someone to acknowledge that we was waiting, when seated there was a table behind us that has been left with food, empty plates, glasses ect many staff members walk pass several times but still remained dirty the whole time we was there. There is old food under the baby bottle warm station (not the first time I've seen this) the salad bar, was low and looked like it had been sat there for a while. When my food arrived I discovered a hair on my meal!! Will be avoiding this place!!

Came here last Wednesday evening. Sat down and then waited half an hour for someone to come and ask us what drinks we wanted... ordered drinks and food then waited another 20 minutes for the glasses to be brought over. Once we got the glasses I realised they were completely filthy and one had lipstick on it so it obviously hadn’t been washed. Went to the bar to get some new ones waited there for ten minutes to then get given new glasses which the guy that gave them to me then said oh they’re dirty too and then he moaned about the fact that it was busy that night. Salad bar was completely empty, no sauces, no butter basically nothing available then to top it all off we had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to bring the card reader over that we had requested.
