We've been 3 people, having lunch. We ordered three different meals like: BBQ pulled pork beef burger, Cheese &Bacon Beef burger and Half Rotisserie. Really enjoyed all our meals. Also at the beginning we have had some salads, mixed by us - really nice! Nice experience, nice food, prompted serving.

We eat here a lot and here is why:

The managers and staff are brilliant. They are always helpful, friendly and welcoming no matter how busy or quiet they are.

The same staff are always there which for me means they must be happy with working there.

The two male managers are always helping out and not just standing around barking orders and twiddling their thumbs.

The food has always been lovely and great value.

We have eaten at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the service and food is always as good.

I have read so many bad comments and reviews at other branches that I suggest other teams go to Hayward's Heath and see how it should be done.

He only thing for me that lets this place down see its toilets. They desperately need a refurb but I doubt that is down to them and more head office.



Highly recommend the harvester in Hayward's Heath and look forward to going back again soon �

We ate here on our way home from a weekend in Eastbourne and we found it a very pleasing experience. Quick service, hot food and friendly staff. Thank you

The staff was very welcoming. I found there wasn't much choice on the salad bar . I have the gammon steak and I found it very salty so I couldn't eat it all.

Popped in this evening with my 1 year old and husband. We weren't expecting much as haven't been to a Harvesters in about a decade. It's was actually great. Handed a fun pack on entry for the baby with an excellent children's menu of great healthy food. Fresh fruit, veg and chicken etc. Our food was good and our waiter (Jonathan?) was more attentive than a lot of the good establishments we normally attend in London and Brighton. Pleasantly surprised. Great family venue with playground out back

Having had mixed feeling over various menu changes decided to give it another chance. I must say it was great. From start to finish our waitress was on top form polite, efficient and knew her job. Food has gone more like the 'old harvester' which for us was a good thing. The magician was good the children we enthralled. 10/10.

Harvester in haywards Heath. Great service and food! Very welcoming and accommodating especially when my son was sad that the chicken was not breaded so he had a meltdown. The staff were really understanding and polite! Didn’t have to wait long to be served or receive our food. Will be coming again!

Great evening had by our entire group of 12! Great food, great service, great price and a great tip left.... as well as a bit of chocolate birthday cake for our waitress! Not our first visit and won't be our last!!

Family meal to celebrate parents 60th wedding anniversary - great that you can book tables. 21 of us had a lovely evening. Manager and staff were brilliant + very accommodating Thank you Sandra :-)

The food was hot and freshly cooked.

The salad bar was clean and regularly topped up.

Our waitress was very attentive and we were welcomed by the manager when we arrived.



We really enjoy our visits here and find all the staff friendly and professional.

Absolutely loved our waiter he couldn't help us enough... Food was delicious as usual.. Salad bar was very fresh... And the new Freak shake was lovely looked exactly like the picture too...... Only downfall was when I approached the bar to ask for some 10ps as the grab machine didn't accept 5ps the girl just said,sorry can't open the till without a manager then served another customer I didn't know if someone was hoinhvto help me or not,then after 10 minutes someone paid cash so she could help me but she made no attempt to explain how she would help me or tell me she would call someone...�

The service was good, we were served quickly and the food was served quickly as well so we were in and out in about an hour. The food was very good as well - although the salad bar could do with a bit more variety. And bottomless soft drinks are handy - especially if you are going to dinner having just run a marathon!

Lovely meal and although they were busy and we had to wait a while for our order to be taken, it was delicious when it arrived. Particularly like that you can help yourself and choose which sauces you would like to add to your meal.

The food was quite a while coming but was a nice main. We had the short ribs, very nice. But the side of vegetables absolutely awful, all the veg was over cooked and dry like it had been stored on a hot plate for ages. The salad bar was sadly lacking in variety, 2 of several items like iceberg lettuce and sweetcorn! The rolls were not as hard as they usually are!!

I ordered a meal with extra side chips and garlic bread.

Garlic bread all three bits were burnt to a crisp so I said can I have some that aren't burnt and they only replaced the most burnt one so I had two burnt ones still.

I had to ask for the extra chips to come out as they had forgotten

Went last night and asked for a quiet table ended up in a walkway surrounddd by kids with my chair being knocked 5 times !! Waiter was ok to start took 20mins for drinks to arrive and had salad and table cleared and waited 20 mins for someone to take order for dinner that took 40mins arrive and all I got was a sorry . Salad bar didn't look fresh salad leaves going brown pasta on floor and sauces all been mixed up !!! Toilets were clean though which was nice

It was a toss up between McDonalds and Harvester, when we arrived I ask how long the wait for food was and was told it would be about half an hour.



We decided to stick it out as the wait time seemed ok, food order was taken promptly and when arrived it was good.



However when we had finished the deserts (rocky horror) we Waited 30 minutes before we could get the bill and this was only because we approached the staff.



6 tables were cleared around us and at no point did the staff "taking care of us" actually came to clear our table!



When we spoke to a manager she apologised and said she would have a look at the bill, she came back with a bill higher then the one we started with and in the end just knocked off a couple of drinks!



I've never said this before but for once McDonald's seemed like the better place to go.



Will be a long time before we venture back to a place where waiting staff actually make you wait!

The staff was very welcoming. I found there wasn't much choice on the salad bar . I have the gammon steak and I found it very salty so I couldn't eat it all.

Popped in this evening with my 1 year old and husband. We weren't expecting much as haven't been to a Harvesters in about a decade. It's was actually great. Handed a fun pack on entry for the baby with an excellent children's menu of great healthy food. Fresh fruit, veg and chicken etc. Our food was good and our waiter (Jonathan?) was more attentive than a lot of the good establishments we normally attend in London and Brighton. Pleasantly surprised. Great family venue with playground out back

Having had mixed feeling over various menu changes decided to give it another chance. I must say it was great. From start to finish our waitress was on top form polite, efficient and knew her job. Food has gone more like the 'old harvester' which for us was a good thing. The magician was good the children we enthralled. 10/10.

Harvester in haywards Heath. Great service and food! Very welcoming and accommodating especially when my son was sad that the chicken was not breaded so he had a meltdown. The staff were really understanding and polite! Didn’t have to wait long to be served or receive our food. Will be coming again!

Great evening had by our entire group of 12! Great food, great service, great price and a great tip left.... as well as a bit of chocolate birthday cake for our waitress! Not our first visit and won't be our last!!

Family meal to celebrate parents 60th wedding anniversary - great that you can book tables. 21 of us had a lovely evening. Manager and staff were brilliant + very accommodating Thank you Sandra :-)

Another visit to this great Harvester.

The food was hot and freshly cooked.

The salad bar was clean and regularly topped up.

Our waitress was very attentive and we were welcomed by the manager when we arrived.



We really enjoy our visits here and find all the staff friendly and professional.



It won't be our last visit and we look forward to our next one.

Absolutely loved our waiter he couldn't help us enough... Food was delicious as usual.. Salad bar was very fresh... And the new Freak shake was lovely looked exactly like the picture too...... Only downfall was when I approached the bar to ask for some 10ps as the grab machine didn't accept 5ps the girl just said,sorry can't open the till without a manager then served another customer I didn't know if someone was hoinhvto help me or not,then after 10 minutes someone paid cash so she could help me but she made no attempt to explain how she would help me or tell me she would call someone...�

The service was good, we were served quickly and the food was served quickly as well so we were in and out in about an hour. The food was very good as well - although the salad bar could do with a bit more variety. And bottomless soft drinks are handy - especially if you are going to dinner having just run a marathon!

Lovely meal and although they were busy and we had to wait a while for our order to be taken, it was delicious when it arrived. Particularly like that you can help yourself and choose which sauces you would like to add to your meal.

The food was quite a while coming but was a nice main. We had the short ribs, very nice. But the side of vegetables absolutely awful, all the veg was over cooked and dry like it had been stored on a hot plate for ages. The salad bar was sadly lacking in variety, 2 of several items like iceberg lettuce and sweetcorn! The rolls were not as hard as they usually are!!

I ordered a meal with extra side chips and garlic bread.

Garlic bread all three bits were burnt to a crisp so I said can I have some that aren't burnt and they only replaced the most burnt one so I had two burnt ones still.

I had to ask for the extra chips to come out as they had forgotten

Went last night and asked for a quiet table ended up in a walkway surrounddd by kids with my chair being knocked 5 times !! Waiter was ok to start took 20mins for drinks to arrive and had salad and table cleared and waited 20 mins for someone to take order for dinner that took 40mins arrive and all I got was a sorry . Salad bar didn't look fresh salad leaves going brown pasta on floor and sauces all been mixed up !!! Toilets were clean though which was nice

It was a toss up between McDonalds and Harvester, when we arrived I ask how long the wait for food was and was told it would be about half an hour.



We decided to stick it out as the wait time seemed ok, food order was taken promptly and when arrived it was good.



However when we had finished the deserts (rocky horror) we Waited 30 minutes before we could get the bill and this was only because we approached the staff.



6 tables were cleared around us and at no point did the staff "taking care of us" actually came to clear our table!



When we spoke to a manager she apologised and said she would have a look at the bill, she came back with a bill higher then the one we started with and in the end just knocked off a couple of drinks!



I've never said this before but for once McDonald's seemed like the better place to go.



Will be a long time before we venture back to a place where waiting staff actually make you wait!

Went for breakfast - food was cooked but stone cold so not sure how long ago it had been cooked. Not recommended if you wish to eat freshly cooked food.
