We had the bulls head steak off the new menu it was amazing. With its new refurbishment it’s definitely worth a visit.

User

We had a great meal, the chicken from the rotisserie was great, very juicy. The rib-eye steak was great, lovely chunky chips. Such a great evening. Would definitely go back.

I took my Daughter Chelsea for her 18th Birthday Lunch on 28.06.18.

The staff were VERY Welcoming, Helpful & Kind.

The Food was amazing, And As it's the Harvester's 35th Birthday they had a special Birthday Baileys & Chocolate Sundaè.. It seemed the perfect choice for My Birthday girl to have it as her desert & they brought it out Singing Happy Birthday to her.

We hadn't booked and despite being busy & having a (Mona) Lisa to deal with they made a Special Birthday Lunch a fantastic 1.

Cannot Thank them or rate it any more highly :-)

User

I love harvester, food is normally fab, staff are amazing (especially Lana and Gemma) totally recommend it. More consistent food quality than harbour and not so rushed!

User

Food was reasonable priced and cooked well service was good

Only down side was the fact they only do one draft bitter plenty of lagers and ciders if you like them

User

We popped in for an evening meal with our grand daughter. We were shown to an area I suspect is reserved for families with children, that made sense to me.

We gave our drunk orders and selected our meals. I have no complaints about the salad bar, one of the kitchen staff was topping up various items, it all seemed lovely and fresh to me. Our meals arrived and they were sizzling hot. A nice portion of chips. Slightly surprised at the size of the chicken quarter, it was covered completely by the half rack of ribs. Still not all chickens are big are they?

Only complaints I have are exactly what other customers have mentioned since last April. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, dusty blinds shabby paintwork, dirty floors and chairs.

Two things in your favour, your staff are brilliant and you're 100% better all round than the Sovereign harbour Harvester.

User

Recently eat at this harvester and was impressd with the food and service the staff were very pleasant .

User

Nice place, nice food, good service - just sort some blinds out ! Really hot and uncomfortable sitting by the huge glass window

User

Had meal for 3 all the food was good and had no complaints they were very patient as I was sat waiting for the other 2 in party to join me about 25 mins even given a box to take my 2 pieces of uneaten chicken home

User

My daughter and I visited on Sunday of Bank holiday weekend. It wasnt particularly busy. We ordered our meals together, mine arrived but we had to ask for my daughter's after 15 mins of waiting. Having said that the food was enjoyable but it would of been nice if they had arrived together.

User

Had breakfast on Saturday morning, cooked food was good and staff friendly, but since new re fit, breakfast bar is smaller and menu options reduced.

Pancake have been taken off the menu which I notice upset a few visitors.

Please bring back pancakes, my daughter doesn't to return for breakfast again, as they are her favourite.

User

Had a meal there yesterday. Great service but the food was not so good. I ordered the £15.49 St Louis ribs. There was hardly any meat on them and they were really bland and fatty. I did complain and had £5 discounted from my bill. I would have preferred to have had a decent meal as described on the menu. That being said, everyone else in my party of nine enjoyed their meals and the salad cart was well stocked. Service was good but we had a half hour wait for a table. I think I would stick to the Lancing restaurant in future.

User

Haven't been to this Harvester for a little while but was really disappointed as the food and serve but isn't what it used to be but can't put the staff staff were very nice and pleasant especially with my disabled son

User

Absolutely disgusting.

All outside tables full of ditty plates and glasses.

Asked for a table for 2 in a half empty restaurant and was shown to a table that looked like it had been left in the hallway.

I asked for a different table as on crutches following surgery and felt sure someone would walk into my leg.

Told no other tables available?? And before we had even sat down was asked what we wanted to drink.

Politely said we would sit down then decide.

Don't think waitresses was impressed by the comment.

Having eaten on many occasions here decided we would not be again and left.

User

Was really hoping that a refurb would improve the quality of the food. starters were sent back and two mains we absolutely rubbish. Asked for an accessible table as on crutches. Was the furthest away from salad bar and drinks machine and a totally pointless request. Thankfully the waitress was kind enough to try and improve the experience however it was a birthday meal ruined and I really don’t think we will be going back anytime soon!!

User

Very poor son got burnt on the neck while at salad bar as chef scraping the grill with my 2yr old granddaughter in his arms, fish fingures kids meal not cooked through nor kids burger meal plus forgot the cheese , cold veg chips dried coleslaw, complained to women in charge just got a sorry burn wasn’t put in accident book nor offered to be put in their, didn’t get charged for kids burger meal as a gesture, never again would I ever use or go back. AVOID

User

My wife and I went to this restaurant last week we waited 15 minutes for cutlery after asking 3 times!! when our food eventually came I complained that the so called triple fried chips were inedible and soggy only to be told they hadn’t been in the oven long enough so they were in fact they are oven chips!! My ribs were dry and tough and although we accept it’s all very portion controlled food it was disgusting! I can’t really blame the staff as there seemed to be too few on to cope with the covers and the restaurant was in fact half empty!! 100 % will not return and I advise anyone thinking of going to avoid it like the plague!

User

I went to the harvester with my friends yesterday and had a really bad experience. We asked forb2 refill drinks and they charged us for 4. When they brought my veggie burger over to me the waitress accidentally threw it at me and it fell on the floor. The staff laughed and made an excuse that she was pregnant! 2 of our party ordered the younger menu but because they didn’t order the squash or milk they had to pay for the desert. Very misleading menu and rude staff!!! Won’t be going back

User

First time going in after the refit and won’t be going back, this place used to be our regular breakfast place but not anymore and all the people that were queuing said the same, whoever designed the new layout and the set menu needs their heads banging together.

I’m sure you will notice a lot more customers saying so as it used to be so nice to eat and get food here
