You can definitely tell it’s under new management. The place just seems so much more organised. Yes it needs work done to it but It has so much potential. I hope the new manager helps to make this place as good as it should be.

We have eaten here on a few occasions but we decided after shopping that we would go for dinner here with our family on Saturday, I have to say the staff was wonderful and the food was cooked amazingly, our boys don’t really each much so we was going to let them just have salad cart and some of our dinner but the lady informed me if you download the app there was a voucher to make kids meals only £1 Instead of £3.99 or £4.99 bargain

Superb meal again!

Been coming here several times a month for the last 2 years and must say its definately worth a visit.

Food quality has improved massively in the last few months to rival the usual restaurant suspects and the staff are great. Mandy is amazing. So helpful and attentive. Employee of the Year candidate in my opinion. She is exactly how a waitress should be. Katie is also great!

It was very busy as it was Mother’s Day as well as my birthday!

We had booked for 4 adults and 2 toddlers and the high chairs were clean and ready when we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering the children their food first to allow us time to peruse the menu at our leisure. The food was beautifully cooked and well presented. We will definitely be back again.

First time for us. Cheap and cheerful. Seemed busy but food arrived in good time. Had to remind for a couple of things like tap water and kids colouring but didn't mind. Service was friendly, food was very good and price very reasonable. Will definitely return.

Visited for Breakfast this morning with some friends and probably could have made a better fry up (and quicker) at home myself. They left it right till the end before telling us they’d run out of hash browns so substituted with chips. Sausages were burnt and service slow to put it nicely. Will not be coming back.

Still sitting here after 40 minutes, haven't even got our drinks yet! It's not like we're a big group, there are 2 of us! Never again. Update - Finally got our bottle of Prosecco (45 minutes after ordering), we chose this as they had no Pinot Grigio. Complained about the wait but got a disinterested 'sorry', we're busy.



Meals finally came out and I feed better prepared food to my dogs. Cold hard chips, a thin hard burnt slice of pineapple on top of a burnt gammon steak (peas were ok though!) and hard chicken in a burger bun. Dismal. Didn't get the chance to complain as staff were too busy chatting, almost impossible to get their attention, it's almost like they try to avoid eye contact, ate a couple of mouthfuls, paid the bill and left without tipping. We will never return.

Really bad food steak tasted like it was microwaved and also other meat on the mixed grill all tasted like it had been sat around for a hour so won't be coming back soon

Living nearby this Harvester, we would love to use it on a regular basis. Unfortunately over the last few years the service, cleanliness and quality of food has been absolutely awful so we will always drive further afield for something to eat. The staff are lovely but can only work with what they are given so service is slow, the premises is dirty and the food is below average. We went there today (begrudgingly) as part of a large group and again our opinions on this place were confirmed. One of our group ordered a steak (sitting in the garden). He was denied this as 1. It was too heavy to carry to the garden and 2. Steak knives were a health and safety issue and so steak could only be served indoors!!!! He asked for a normal knife but was told no!!! Seriously!!!! I could list many more things but too many to mention. Such a shame for what could be a lovely location. P.S, please don't ask me to contact you to discuss my feedback as I've done this previously and spoken to head office to no avail. Just informing others as to what they can expect :(

Initially seated at a sticky looking table, we gave it a wipe with some serviettes, was given grotty menu's, then left for at least half an hour before the waitress returned to ask what drinks we wanted, ordered our drinks then waited another half hour to get drinks, ordered food, waiting nearly one hour for the wrong order to come out, hungry and fed up we made do and ate it, no salt or pepper as these where empty and no sight of anyone to ask for more, went and found our own dessert menu's , waited to order but no one came to remove plates OE take dessert order, wanting more drinks now, I went to the bar, empty, decided to leave had to search for someone to get the bill and pay, definitely won't be returning

Firstly we were denied half our order as we wanted steaks in the garden (steak knives not allowed in garden, never heard anything so ludicrous ever). My friend ordered their food and then I ordered mine straight after so expected they to be a delay in all the food arriving. The first order came but manager had dropped the sweet potato fries and the corn on the cob was missing (manager denied the meals even came with corn until presented with menu). 25 mins after the first order arrived our food still hadn't, wen and checked with bar staff to be told it was being plated up. 10 minutes later still no food and 3 very cranky children as we had now been waiting nearly 1 hour. So I went and checked with waiting staff to be told I still wasn't plated up, but was being done so, asked to speak to manager who was rude and abrupt, spent 6 minutes complaining and then went back outside and food arrived 5 minutes later (making our wait from ordering to food arrive 1 hour and 10mins) the children's cheeseburgers arrived with no cheese or salad, adult burger arrived with no salad. The manager never once came to our table to apologise or see if everything was OK (a member of staff did this but I had complained to manager and then she avoided us completely). I am disgusted with my whole experience of this pub and the inexperience and lack of people skills of the manager.
