Went for dinner here tonight, don't know why all the negative reviews, fantastic service, even did something off the menu for my son who's a very fussy eater, thank you to all the staff tonight, very happy 10 year old and my daughter loved her food too, we love Harvester, booked online and prompt service, thanks we'll come again

We've been to this harvester twice before & never been disappointed & we were equally happy with our meal yesterday. The food has always been 1st class, and our waitress was lovely. Will definately be back .

Party of eleven of us, table was precooked and everything ready when we arrived. We ordered off of several different menus, soft drinks all round - no mistakes at all. Brilliant service - good food.

Booked online and table was ready when we arrived. Lovely waitress (Maisie), really ‘on the ball’ and looked after us all very well. Food hot and delicious and arrived in good time. Desserts very nice but it will take many gym sessions to work off that Mississippi mud pie sundae! 40% off main course voucher accepted with no issues at all. Well done, Harvester Lancing. Amazing food, waiting staff, atmosphere. Everything was first class and we thoroughly enjoyed my daughters birthday breakfast. We will most certainly recommend The Harvester to our friends and we will definitely be back very soon !! Thank you to the chefs and all the waiting staff. Mrs M Gardner

A lovely breakfast Saturday morning and served by the lovely Paula!

Went for lunch, 1 o'clockish. Very busy but we sat in the bar and had amazing service. Paul was working and made sure we were OK, being served, not forgotten. All business's need a Paul, he was brilliant. Food was excellent apart from the Calamari, which was over cooked

The staff are friendly and courteous and try their best to ensure you have a good meal. The children are always welcomed and looked after really well. The food is usually quite good but the new menu chips are very disappointing. Deserts as always are too die for.

very average, telling people they need to book a table but there were several near us that were not used. the food wasn't anything special and the salad bar was half empty all night. we usually have a good meal there so I don't know what went wrong

Very disappointed in my visit . Someone had dropped cucumber from the salad bar which caused me to slip and knock my side on a the marble salad bar edge . No compassion for the customer just put it in the bin ... totally shocked what ever happened to customer service and a accident book . Shocked �

The waitress behind the bar was awful, so rude. It ruined what could have been a very good evening. A please and thank you would have been nice. I will not be returning in a hurry and I'll be telling people to do the same

A group of 7 of us enjoyed a very lovely meal in the restaurant. Afterwards we went and sat in the bar for a few drinks. The lady behind the bar was extremely rude every time one of us went to the bar. Overall a nice evening but that was a big shame.

What a pathetic excuse for a restaurant! Booked for 19:15 now 20:30 still no food. Just been told only 2 chickens left. Plates dirty and salad bar manky. I guess it’s cheap but I don’t expect it this bad.

Just awful. My husband began by trying to book table online but was unable to do this. Website gave him a number to ring. He did and thought he booked a table at 5. 15. When we arrived there was no table and none available. Offered bar. We took this. We ordered our food and drinks ( 2 refills) and My husband went and got His and my daughters salad and drink. When he came back the gas had gone and he had a flat drink. Staff said they would bring him a new glass and they would change gas. The drinks were still off 15 minutes later my food had arrived and no working drinks. so My husband asked for ours to be filled up at the bar. The gave us bottles. when I finished mine I asked my husband if he could get me another one and they refused to give us it as a refill. The machine still wasn't working and they made him pay for a new drink. He paid. But they sold us a refill so should have given refills. Food was good that was the only up side. One of our friends turned up and sat with us 10 minutes in and had then purchased refills as I was eating which was at least 20 minutes after it broke and when they tried to get it from the bar was told it had only just gone and would have to check if they could do this. ( That was a lie which made the situation worse. ) The staff need to have lots of training on good customer service.

Never needed to complain before as small problems don't worry us. they need to sort this out as if it was the first time we had been there we would never come back.

It was ok went because my daughter is vegan and not many places offer the menu unless you go into town vegan menu was poor and no pudding available I chose salmon that was nice but jacket and veg were cold . Staff were nice .

Absolutely shocking service, we complained that we had to wait very long periods for service (restaurant was not full) the response was well it's cos it's 50% off deal at the moment, I must have missed that part in the small print where is said 50% off food and service. We had to send a steak back twice and the attitude from the waitress was it's not my fault I put the order through as you asked, this is the second time n a row we have had bad service, from the same waitress. our only reason for coming back was our daughters love the food. You need to hire more staff or train the ones you have to do their job without giving attitude to the customers.



We will not be hurrying back
