Since starting this business I have never had to fully decorate 3 cakes in one day -all of which were completely different! Is it too early for a G&T yet??😴🍷🍻 Happy Friday all!x

Bake 2 of 3 collected this morning! The customer wanted a stylish elegant cake with a contrasting dark chocolate sponge which they could dress themselves. A deep and dark chocolate ganache makes this incredibly rich whilst the white buttercream provides contacting sweetness. Flavour - chocolate & vanilla

Bake 1 of 3 of today's bakes! The customer wanted a cake for his wife's birthday who, due to medical reasons could not eat too much sugar but still wanted a celebration cake. In steps the mighty carrot cake!😀 This bake was made with natural sweetness from the additions of apple and pineapple, lots of spice and pecans. The frosting contains minimal amounts of sweetener and additional orange zest. Not only is this cake sugarfree , it's also at least 2 of your 5 a day!😜 Stay healthy and eat cake people!!

I have been baking up a storm ⛈ today in the kitchen prepping orders for the week and making some samples for a local cafe. I don't think I have ever made so much cake!!😂🎂 My morning bake was this Rich, indulgent 2 layer chocolate Vegan cake. Smothered in a thick dairy free chocolate ganache. It's rather delish! You really would not know it's dairy free! heBakes! He certainly does!😀x

This is my kind of cake!!! A massive 4 layer lemon sponge sandwiched with white chocolate buttercream and raspberry conserve. Covered in raspberry buttercream, a white choc drip, glitter ✨ dusted raspberries and some fondant flowers 🌺 Just stick me in a room with a fork and let's end the weekend here!😋 Luckily for my 'far off' Summer body this is for the lovely Ellie 😘x

A love of Cars and football was the order of the day for this 4 layer vanilla bean and strawberry conserve birthday bake! Fondant artwork is not my speciality but I'm rather pleased with the toy cars circling the base and covering throughout.
Top tip - cold hands make light work of fondant so stick them in the fridge!!😂

Last cake of 2018 - a Silver glitter cake!🎂✨ 4 layers of gluten free chocolate sponge, chocolate buttercream and strawberry conserve. Covered in vanilla bean buttercream and just a little sparkle!?!😜 What better way to start a new year than with some glitz, shimmer and of course a piece of cake! Happy New Year all!xx

This morning I made this delight for a birthday - a Date and marmalade cake. Not only is it dairyfree, it's also glutenfree as made with ground almonds. A recent recipe from @nigellalawson with my own additions. Like it's creator, i did try slathering the moist batter😜 and adorning a silk robe whilst staring seductively into the camera 🎥, but it's very sticky and no one wants to see me covered in raw cake mix!!😂 (unless requested!?!😀)

I must admit - I am my biggest critique!! I don't claim to be a cake designer or specialist in themed bakes. However 😜 I'm rather pleased with this bake! It's simple, was fun to make and I have discovered the brilliance of silver lustre spray!! ✨ Here we have a vegan sponge filled with strawberry conserve and vanilla bean buttercream (in blue!). For a little boy with an obsession with planets! 🚀

A few pics from last nights Christmas 🎄 Fair at the lovely @ticketyboogardencafe . The sweet trolley was out in force stacked with handmade fudges, coconut ice, mallows, festive chocs and a selection of chunky brownies. A fab night alongside lots of amazing local stall holders. This cake has tested me in many ways!😬It's so different to anything I have ever made and designed! Now it's complete I'm quite happy with it! Here we have a vegan and glutenfree big boy (12x18 inch) slab cake sandwiched with buttercream and jam and decorated in a travel theme! I have gone for world icons.
