What a great meal, locally sourced, foraged ingredients and real tasty, and on our doorstep too, how lucky are we!! We will be back, give it a try, you will be impressed

We enjoyed the tasting menu with the flight of wines to accompany it. We haven't eaten this type of meal before. It is less of a "meal" & more of an edible performance. The service was leisurely - we had time to experience and enjoy lots of flavours and rest our taste buds in between. The food was interesting and unusual - tiny portions with big flavours - although we were surprised to be quite full by the end. We really enjoyed our evening. It is expensive, but we could see why - the range of ingredients and the work that had obviously gone into each mouthful. The wine matching was particularly enjoyable and really added to the whole experience.

Treated the husband to a delicious dinner out. Can only recommend Heima in Brading for special treat meals. Locally sourced food, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and just yummy.

Edit 21.02.2018: The husband took me to Heima for Valentine's Day and we have had an amazing time. The staff was attentative and caring, took out coats, offered bubbly on arrival... the food was so good...that duck was just melting in your mouth and the calamari were not just colourful, but crunchy without being greasy. The husband had the cheese platter and was impressed by the selection of cheese. We also liked, that the booking seems to be staggered, so people don't always come at the same time, wich allowes each party to settle in and shortens waiting time. Heima is our treat for speciall occasions and well worth it.

The Isle of Wight's best kept food secret! What an amazing meal we had here last night. We had the 7 course tasting menu and it was some of the very best food I have ever eaten out, and we go to a lot of restaurants! It was lovely to meet the chef and creator of the whole experience while we were there too. The whole concept is spot on - lovely original decor, friendly service and delicious food. You have to try it!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the best meal I've had in a long time! I couldn't fault a thing. The food, staff and the service were absolutely amazing! We'll definitely be back! Thank you!!

It was So So good, just popped in for a late lunch and had a Mix of tapas style food.. Only 3 dishes for £8 !!! Yes Only £8 for 3 dishes... We have Venison / Fish / Veg/ Cheese / fab Breads and Tomato butter !!! Loved it.. Highly recommend...

Also so Relaxed in there & VERY helpful.. Go try for yourself.. x

I've just had the best meal I've had on the Isle of Wight in 30 years and at an unbelievably cheap price for what was on offer. We had a tasting menu for four (not advertised but we asked and they were more than happy to oblige) which was divine and all obviously prepared, cooked and served with love. The staff were bang on point and the ambience relaxed (ex-the piped music which they kindly turned down for me). If you want interesting tasty food at a reasonable price this is definitely the place to come. Highly recommended.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Absolutely sublime, and reasonably priced too, the staff where all friendly and helpful and the food is the best i'v eaten on the Isle of Wight.

Heard such good reports about Heima since it opened in late 2016. So we thought we would give it a try for lunch today. We have an eye for good food and this restaurant just blew us away in every way. Got our tastebuds going! Service from Tom and ambiance was also impeccable. This is what the island badly needs: restaurants with innovative chefs like this. So this is a call to you all out there on the island. Try them out. We can assure you it will be the first of many visits. Well done guys. Chris & Johanna

Had my first visit last night and wow how nice. The food was amazing so was the service and the atmosphere was lovely it was so comfortable it was almost like eating in your own front room. Me and my husband really enjoyed our evening and will differently be coming back again.

Had an amazing experience at Heima. Booked this restaurant as a surprise birthday dinner for husband and couldn't have asked for more. We ordered the tasting menu where each dish was artistically and meticulously presented, and every bite filled with surprising flavours. Service was personable and environment was cozy and relaxing. They even had a little complimentary dessert and candle at the end which was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful night. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic meal here for Valentine's day. We really enjoyed every course from the tasting menu and found the flavours more interesting than at Thompson's. The service was very friendly but a bit too casual (including one staff member wearing trainers) and we would have liked more information about each course rather than just the name of the main ingredient. Didn't like being asked to reuse the cutlery for every dish either although both of those were very minor niggles. The Malbec wine was excellent.

Great restaurant! Had the tasting menu and every course was well presented and delicious. The venue and layout of the restaurant is also beautiful. There are few restaurants on the Island taking this much care of what they serve. It was also incredibly good value and I would be surprised if it doesn't increase significantly in popularity. Thoroughly recommended and certainly worth travelling to from other towns.

The attention to detail on each dish, the accommodating nature of the Chef for dietary requirements and the whole ethos of the restaurant was amazing. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you team Heima. A friend and I visited Heima last week and were not disappointed! A little unsure of what to order and feeling like we needed to try something new, we decided to go on a Sunday where we were able to try lots of various dishes. We managed 8 gorgeous courses! Each dish was beautifully put together combining the perfect flavours. It's clear that the chefs adore what they do and take pride in their work to produce food to such a standard. See you again soon!
