Hilsea Cricket Club

Hilsea Cricket Club (est 2014) is an Amateur Sports and Social Club based in Portsmouth Hampshire. From humble beginnings the club has gone from strength to strength we now have 2 teams in the local league with a friendly side playing Sundays.

Hilsea Cricket Club (est 2014) is an Amateur Sports and Social Club based in Portsmouth Hampshire. From humble beginnings in the summer of 2013 a small group of family, friends and work mates got together to have a leisurely game of cricket, one thing led to another and in the January of 2014 the 13 founder members met in the Phoenix Hotel in the Hilsea area of Portsmouth and Hilsea Cricket Club was formed.

Since the formation the club has gone from strength to strength, in both playing facilities, club members and on field performances. In 2015 we acquired our own ground from Portsmouth City Council and have since built our own pavilion on the site. Membership has grown to around 50 members and we now have a 1st and 2nd team playing in the local leagues with a friendly side that turns out on a Sunday.
