This is a lovely facility, well looked after and warm! Although the shallow end was officially closed, another live guard came out to watch it when we asked if my children could go in there as well as main pool. Great service!

User

Realy nice place highly recomended :)

User

Lovely pool, always very clean (well as clean as the bottom of a pool can be, the odd leaf here and there) the only downside is parking. It's a complete nightmare getting a space. Overall a fab day out! Been 5/6 times this holiday and my daughter loved it!

User

It's a hidden gem in Oxford. The water is clear and warm. Whole area well looked after. Plenty safeguards so felt really safe letting my two running/swimming. Clean toilets, polite friendly staff. £18 for family of four xxx

User

Great pool we go about 5pm in evening so not too busy also went on Sunday at 8.45 am no kids just older people doing lengths so nice and relaxing and like getting in a warm bath only downside ladies loos a bit run down but would thoroughly recommend

User

Clean, warm and just absolutely lovely. Perfect place to take the kids AND for swimming whilst they are at school, for a bit of tlc (you can’t tell them you’re going though ).

User

Brilliant! Chose the outdoor option, haven't been for ages. Great facilities everything you need from coffee to showers. Very peaceful, relaxed evening visit at 5pm and last out of the pool with my son and his friend. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

User

We love going here. The only criticism is the 'band ' system. 15 mins in the pool then 45 mins out. Ridiculous. I think it would be better if at busy times they just allowed people to stay for 2hrs. Change over every 2hrs so at least you get a decent time in the pool, everyone gets in at some point

User

It is vastly different from the early years. I have lowish mobility due to arthritis and this was the first time I have been in water since early 2000's. Found my footing hard to find and was glad there were plenty of life guards around. The disabled toilets and changing room were good tho it looked like the food place to be cramped especially if one relies on a wheelchair. But hoping to go back with my family soon.

User

Good facilities, reasonably priced, friendly staff. Grass needed to be cut, over priced beds. If you charged half thd price you'd probably hird thfm all out, rather than half a dozen, seems crazy. We had a good afternoon!

User

We have been to Hinksey Pool today the queuing was harandous. Must be a quicker method. Their are two till points why not have two Open ?.Also ladies toilet was degusting

Why can't they put the toilet paper into the dispenser. Not on the floor to get sodden wet . Also clean the toilet seats and bowls maybe hose it down .

Also what is the problem with swamp on the grass with all the muddy Water going into the pool. Also children running and sliding on it getting covered in mud then then jumping into the pool. We loving going to the pool It is a shame that these things spoil it .

User

Visited on a bank holiday Monday, tried to book ahead but the system kept crashing so had to queue for an hour. Really don't understand why it took so long. Pretty rundown, disgusting loos and the grass needed cutting but the pool itself is fine. Not sure I'd return though. Disappointed.

User

Today as we came in with blue band which was called in immediately after (not giving much a chance to get in) and only 15 mins swim time!? But some sessions went longer then others. I then spent an hour waiting without the colour being called! I asked for a refund and spoke to the manager about how this system could work better/needs changing and got a general attitude of "it is the way it is" and I can't refund you if you've been here for an hour! So if anyone had similar the area managers email is as follows: francois.smit@fusion-lifestyle. com hopefully that system can change❓Other then that great pool, staff that are friendly and professional!

User

Not responsive to messages and phone calls are NEVER answered!

User

The pool itself was a good size and well managed from a Lifeguard perspective! However the method in which they manage payment and the queuing system at busy periods needs a lot of thought as it was pretty bad! ... Basically 1 person taking payment for a 300 strong que of families with young kids! It was a bit like the M25 at rush hour ;0) !! Once we got in the water was an ok temperature and there was plenty of places to put out a picnic blanket. Would I go again ... Yes! but probably not on a bank holiday of sunny weekend!!

User

Once you get in the pool it is ok but you have to wait a long time in the queue to get in which is ridiculous!! Many people ended swimming in the lake... Also, when you are in the pool, the life guards throw you out every 20 mins (OK I understand if the pool is really busy this would work perfectly) but when the pool is not busy... what is the point?!

5 stairs for the facilities, 2 stairs for the restrictions. Sorry.

User

Lovely pool and facilities, make sure you clearly read the rules before going in - apparently children under 8 to be accompanied by an adult poolside actually means within arms length within the pool (told to child in knee deep water with 2 parents approx 4mtrs away) despite the child being told an hour previously they could swim in the deep end having passed their 'swim test' - oh and allowing other children clearly under the age of 8 to be in the pool without the parents even being in sight let alone in the pool!! Little tip Hinksey - if your going to set rule 1) get the wording right, 2) rules should apply to all not just a select few and 3) train your staff to be consistent with where children can and cannot swim

User

howcan u be charges 16.50 and u get in there get in pool and someone shit in it so all had to get out. They sort it then u get a 20 min time slot shocking u explain to a 5/4//3 year old they cant go in pool so our whole 2 hr at hinksey we got to swim 20 mins as took ahour to get in as only 1 on reception

User

We bought our two daughters to the pool today, granted it's a very hot day and a bank holiday Monday, but it was a scrum to get in through the gates. We had pre booked our spaces, but when getting into the pool, we were told that the we could only swim for 20mins then had to sit out in the hot sunshine for 40mins until it was there coloured wristband again!!!!! Shocking, I would avoid this pool. They are also still letting more people in.
