What's not to like , great food, I had the Creedy Duck Legs, my wife had the Paella, two bottles of Chillean red, fantastic evening, go try it.

We were in Croyde during the Easter holidays we stopped on our last night staying at the Hobbs Bistro, I had Tangine lamb and my other half had Paella. .waw food was amazing and stuff very friendly. Definitely we will be back there next time. Love it. X

Perfect evening spent here on our last night in Croyde. Very accommodating and superb customer service and that was just on entering this quaint establishment. The food was exceptional.

Lovely evening for my husbands 60th, nothing was too much trouble, the table had been decorated & the staff even took photographs for us! fabulous meals and service, thank you so much!

Had dinner with my family towards the end of October and had a brilliant time. Food was great (particularly the mussels) and the staff were very accommodating with the children in our party (they had their own menu and colouring was provided for the smaller ones). Try the orange martini cocktail, it was lovely.



Looking forward to our next visit in February.

Found this beautiful Bistro while stay in Croyde. Food was gorgeous especially the starter - Seafood Chowder and main course - Lamb Tagine. Staff were lovely, so go and visit this little gem as you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic place. Hubby and I visited Hobbs bistro whilst holidaying in Croyde. Superb food, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff & very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone visiting Croyde!!

Arrived just before nine, just the two of us and were welcomed warmly even though last orders were just about to be taken. We had the lamb and duck, each was superb. As I am gluten intolerant I was a little restricted but still had a good choice of menu. Definitely going again under £50 for two main meals and drinks so not expensive!

Absolute pleasure to have dined in this resteraunt me and three others had a lovely night with a great ambience and even better food the chefs in the kitchen are a serious compliment to this place !

Really, good food. Doesn't attract the hoards, like other places in Croyde, although we did need to book. Looks a little dark from the outside, but lovely once inside and the food really was the best I had all week.

A very large pub inside. Loads of seating. You would need to book. We went early September just as the schools went back and it was still busy, only just managed to get a table for the two of us. Food jut average and not sure that we would return.

Probably our 6th meal here since 2004 and always the only place we book in advance but we won't be returning. It says a lot about a 'bistro' when out of three meals the only decent one was the pizza, and that a margarita for a 15 month old. The paella was full of seafood yet lacked flavour and the proper consistency of such a dish whilst the burger was exactly the same you find for £2.50 outside any football ground on a Saturday afternoon and the onion rings were straight from a McCains packet in the freezer. Granted the menu never claims either to be home made but I expected more from such a place.
