... We have some truly magnificent entries in this year's Classic Car Auction to suit all tastes; whether you hanker after a retro 1980’s hatchback that you were driven to school in when you were a child or a stately 1930’s pre-war gentleman’s carriage or tourer.
LOT 945 - 1935 Lagonda M45 ST34 Pillarless Saloon – This majestic motor car has been unearthed from a more than forty year slumber in a barn, being sold by the family who have owned the car since 1952. The words “rare opportunity” get used too often, this time they’re an understatement. A true, local barn find we have been working on for six years.
LOT 981 - 1986 Porsche 944 Auto – Same lady owner from new, the epitome of an 80’s car.
LOT 950 - 1934 Morris Minor 2 Seat Tourer - a delightful pocket sized pre-war tourer.
LOT 944 - 1971 Mercedes 280 S (W108) Saloon – This car has been fastidiously maintained by its Mercedes Benz club member owner who is now emigrating – it’s the same shape Mercedes James Corden drives in an insurance TV advert.
LOT 974 - 1933 Hillman Minx – This Hillman is ready to use, being sold by a mature gentleman who is reducing his collection of pre-war cars, driven here from Sussex.
LOT 956 - Porsche 356 - A real 356, I had the pleasure of driving it to the auction.
LOT 928 - Citroen 2CV Dolly – Lovely condition, a galvanised chassis, being sold by its local owner.
