Good evening All :-) Thank you for viewing our Honfleur apartment page. Sadly the time has come for us to say good bye as our UK mortgage has to be repaid. We have owned our spacious, ground floor apartment on the Cote Fleurie since August 2002 and its quiet serenity has been lovely. Close to Honfleur yet semi-rural - away from the hustle and bustle of a very quaint, very successful, very photogenic ancient port. Google Honfleur to see what we mean.
We have instructed the Hon...fleur estate agent (immobilier) POZZO to advertise if for us at a sensible price of 60,000 euros. To many, this probably sounds expensive for France but the Cote Fleurie is like Brighton is to London. Honfleur is very popular with Parisians. So, at 1.14 euros to the pound, the apartment is approximately £53,000. (/www.pozzo-immobilier.fr)
.....and if you are thinking of renting the property to holidaymakers........just like Chichester when FOS is on there are several weeks where there is no availability in Honfleur. Please would you like and share this with your friends, on Fb Thank you. John and Jane

Just noticed - one of the panels on his page suggests that Honfleur apartment is in Barnham ! In my own head and heart when I am in Barnham I am also in Honfleur - probably more so ! BUT..... it is safe to say that Barnham is my UK home and Honfleur is in France.

Our spacious, ground floor apartment for two

D-Day Landings 70th anniversary is on Friday June 6th and as usual there will be many services, displays and celebrations in Normandy. This is no less true for the pretty port of Honfleur where the atmosphere (and congestion) causes village life to slow to an apropriate speed - given the nature of the events. As our Honfleur apartment has Fridays as our regular changeover day, we have decided to add Thursday 5th June to anyone who wishes to book and this additional day will b...e free of charge (8 nights for the price of 7). It will enable guests to settle in unhindered and with comfort well in advance of the excitement of the day itself. Due to the additional pressure on accommodation during the period of the D-Day celebrations (rarely is there room at any of the "inns") we are keen that this extended week should be taken up by someone who specifically wants to be there for the Normandy landing celebrations. So please would you share this with your friends on FB so we can get it out there. D-Day Celebrations 6th 2014, Normandy. As this years D-Day celebrations fall on a Friday (our normal change-over day) we are offering an extra day - 8 for the price of 7. This will enbale guests to arive the day before the big event and enjoy the ceremonies, displays and eccentric goings on at some leisure.
