I’ve used this company in a few countries, never had any problems, drivers always on time and very courteous, I usually book a private hire (there’s discounts available all year) and drivers are always at the airport waiting for us, only issue is there’s not much point booking the speedy bus, they always go over the amount of stops you pay for, so your just as well getting the cheaper option

Used Hoppa lots of time in the past with no issue but last holiday had a bit of a nightmare when the transfer didnt turn up to take us back to the airport. Had to book a taxi and pay over 170 euros. I took this up with Hoppa when I got back and they complained to local provider who took full responsibility. I was given full refund for the transfer and the taxi fare. I will probably use them again as previous experiences have always been good and this last time they did sort it out quickly.

I have used the Hoppa service for journeys to and from Corfu Airport to my home a few times. The actual transportation and pick up service has been good but the customer service when you have a query is rubbish.

If you use the ticket system on their website they take 5-7 days to reply to you and then only send you copy pasted information irrelevant to what you’ve asked. They shouldn’t offer this service if it doesn’t work. In the end we had to telephone to get anywhere.

so hoppa never even bothered to pick me and my friend up from our hotel in Portugal and we nearly missed our flight home.

all our paper work was correct but they told us on the phone they wer at our hotel at 4am even tho pick up time was 8:10.

They refused to send anybody else!!!

There was even a transfer from this picking up at that exact time going to the airport aswel they some how failed to get me and my friend on it.

Absolute shambles of a company never again.

We were left stranded at Pisa airport late at night with no transfer whatsoever. When we called Hoppa they said they couldn't get in touch with the driver and didn't have any more information.



Eventually we called the local company who was providing the service. They told us that they had only been made aware of the transfer a few hours previously and the price was far too low for them to complete the journey, so they simply weren't coming. The worst thing is that they said Hoppa were able to get through to them and had literally just been on the phone, but when Hoppa called us back, they said they still were unable to get in touch. I'm not sure why they felt the need to lie and as us to wait longer as it was just getting later and later.



This whole process took us about an hour, at which point the trains were not running and we had no choice but to get a taxi for 270 euros. When I asked, Hoppa did agree to let us claim the money for the taxi back, so we shall see if this actually happens!



All in all, really bad experience and lack of communication was the worst part. I'm so pleased I wasn't by myself. I think they would actually be much better off increasing their prices a bit in order to provide a more trustworthy service, as that's what's most important when arriving in a new country.



Back in the UK, I've raised a ticket to get a refund for the taxi and they have simply ignored it - it's been over a month now with no response. Will never use again.

We got instructions to go to a shop in the airport and present our ticket, the contact person was gonna show us where the bus was. In the shop, they had no clue. Outside of the shop, no one was to be found. Hoppa had no stand, no one with a sign, nothing, .. in the airport. After an hour I called them, got an impolite "ello" and asking for my booking number. No name, no company name, just got told to wait 2 minutes. 2 minutes became half an hour. I tried contacting them twice again in that time, but got no one on the phone.

Eventually there was no bus, but just a car. Guy dropped us of at the hotel.

For the return trip to the airport, i had booked at 11h; since our flight was at 14h. The day before I had to call for pickup time, they told me we would be picked up at 0720 ... . I told them that was way too early. Again, on the phone, just an impolite "ello", no name, no companyname, ... . I told them this was not acceptable, to make me wait at the airport for an extra 4 hours. An hour later they called again, to confirm pickup time at 0720. I told them not to bother showing up. Guy said he couldnt change anything. And yes .... there they were, at 0720, calling our hotel room while we were sleeping. Told them to go away, we ended up taking the public transport. Was cheaper and faster.

We booked a Hoppa from Praia da Luz to Faro Airport on June 2 for my son Fergus Ref: Number Q1662678 and it did not turn up. We had to run around the town on foot to make sure it hadn't gone to the wrong pick up spot and then when we finally got the local person on the phone, they then made us phone the UK (at great cost) only to discover that they had not properly booked our Hoppa and it wasn't coming, despite having sent us a confirmation email. Hoppa then said they would refund their fee and also pay for the taxi we had to book. It is now 2 months later and no refund yet despite lots of emails and facebook messenger messages by both me and my son. We are very upset by this treatment as we have been regular Hoppa users and have in the past advised many people to use their service. But even if this had been the first time we had used Hoppa they should have been more professional and, admitting they were to blame, recompensed us for our trouble and anxiety right away as they promised. I would love to know how they are going to provide good service recovery to make up for all this. And I will be happy to share it on social media if they properly recompense us.

Transfer to the airport did not arrive, we called them, we were rudely told they have no driver to pick us up and to ‘get a taxi’. We are now racing to the airport in a taxi and hope not to miss our flight! Apparently they have only 10 minibuses in the whole of the Algarve according to our ‘rescue’ taxi driver! Do not use this company If you want a stress free airport transfer! No apologies or refunds... it’s a good job we called them as they were not going to call us! Not a reliable company at all, with an awful customer experience!!

Thank you so so much for stressing me out so much for a simple process. Firstly you send me 2 emails from the supplier and the agent with different pick up times and hotels then I ring the supplier 3 times who assured me that a pick up time was correct. Went out at that pick up time and was no where to be seen so rang them again who said transfer was 3 hours later and I got them to confirm which hotel 3 times. Waited at the time and bus did not show. My friend who was on the same bus said they went to different hotel and drove off and he tried to tell driver who said sorry not good English. We got in a taxi for 65 euros to Girona Airport then we’re told by our friend they went back for us but was too late as already on motorway. Shocking service and I demand money back

This company are a complete shower of incompetent morons.

I received an email on Saturday 18th August to advise we would be picked up at 5.15pm on Sunday 19th. Easy, I thought!!

Turned up at the pickup location at 5pm in 29degree heat with my husband, 7yr old, 5yr old and 4 month old baby. We had to be out of our apartment at 9am.

By 5.45pm no one had turned up so I called several times. Nobody answered the phone for 10mins. When someone finally answered they told me they would contact the driver and call me straight back. 20 mins later still no call. I then rang them again, took a couple of attempts, finally got through to be told the driver would be 10mins away. After 15mins we still hadn’t been picked up. I spoke to someone 4x and was told a pack of lies each time.

In the end the lady told us to get a taxi as she couldn’t get hold of the driver and we were in danger of missing our flight.

2hrs we waited and as there are 5 of us we had to take 2 separate taxis costing nearly €100!!!! The reason we booked hoppa was to avoid this expense and so we could all travel together!!

To say I was furious is an understatement. Will never use again and will tell everyone I know how dreadful the service is.

Terrible service. Booked from JFK to Jersey City and close to our trip we got a message to say our destination was “incorrect “ and we had to cancel and rebook. If we didn’t they would cancel and we’d lose 25% of our money. The destination they suggested we book was nowhere near where we wanted to be, however we cancelled the booking and rebooked to a hotel along the road from our initial destination. All accepted and booking confirmation received etc. Arriving after 2 flights from Spain at JFK we went to the transportation desk as instructed, the lady called Hoppa who said “No we don’t go to Jersey City at all” the lady told them we had booking confirmation and they just said no. They would only take us to Manhattan, no where near!! Furious � I still haven’t been refunded for first cancellation yet. Currently around £140 owed back to us and cost us close to $90 for a taxi. Avoid at all costs.

Pre booked and paid for our transfer. Stood in Madrid airport and called customer services as we can’t locate our driver. Phoned the main office who were disinterested and asked me to call the emergency numbers myself directly. This takes you to the drivers directly the provider rather than speaking to the agent. No answer on both emergency numbers. So I called Hoppa back who are again took my details and said they would look into the location of our driver, put on hold for 11 minutes before I eventually hung up - at no point did they jump back into the call and reassure me they were still there! I called them back to make sure they hadn’t forgotten about me. She quickly told me to put the phone down as the chap dealing with my enquiry will be trying to call me back....well 2 calls to the emergency number and 3 calls back to Hoppa and I STILL haven’t received a call back. I think they know my number now and not answering my calls. Disgusting customer services. The provider has told me directly they arent turning up but that I need to speak to Hoppa about this as we have pre-paid. So Hoppa know no the driver isnt coming for us but don’t have the decency to call me with a solution or explain how we will get a refund. An hour later made our own arrangements but I won’t hold my breath that they Hoppa staff will have the decency to call me back and tell me the driver isn’t coming!!

My girlfriend and I booked a ‘maximum 4 stop shuttle bus’ through Hoppa for our holiday in Majorca at the start of July ’18. We have always booked private transfers and after reading fairly positive reviews on here and TripAdvisor I though I would give Hoppa a try – never again!



Landing at Palma airport we were greeted to a queue of 20+ people all being served by a single, disorganised desk. After waiting in line for 40 minutes we were finally ushered onto a coach, which stopped 7 times before our stop. When it came to our transfer home, we waited outside of the hotel as instructed, 15 minutes before pickup. 45 minutes passed and still no sign of our bus, after numerous calls to the ‘emergency’ helpline and being cut off our call finally connected. We were informed that our bus was not going to come and advised to pay for a taxi and submit the receipt for a refund once home.



I submitted the receipt for 80EUR as soon as we got home, 16/07/2018, after much chasing, I have today 04/09/2018 finally received my full refund.



Not picking us up isn’t the end of the world, I understand things don’t always run like clockwork, we made our flight which was all that mattered. My issue is the lax attitude the company has to dealing with complaints! They are absolutely terrible to deal with, nobody answers the phone or replies to emails. They quoted 10 working days for a full resolution, in actual time it took 37, not acceptable for an issue that you admitted fault to!



Their only saving grace has been somebody who replied to me on Twitter (Fabio Narbonese) who has been excellent in dealing with my complaint. Thank you Fabio, the rest of the company could learn a lot from you!



A word of advice for anybody looking to use this company – DON’T! This is your holiday, a time to kick back and relax, don’t make the same mistake as me. Pay a little extra and book a private transfer or use a different company altogether!

I booked through Hoppa no problem! Taxi at Faro airport to go to Alvor, no problem, Hubby left his mobile in taxi, realising within 5 mins of being dropped off we call the local number, who call jean Paul the driver, yes he has phone, no he won’t bring it back collect at airport in 10 days! Very rude Bridgette at the airport! We call Laurence at hoppa to double check the phone will be there, he guaranteed my husband the calls are recorded Miguel at Faro has the phone! 10 days later I’m at the desk, what phone? , nope we never had your phone, you’re stupid, while trying to compose my dignity in the middle of Faro airport, these are nothing but lying, thieving scum, treating other people in the queue like 2nd class citizens, so in short £800 phone gone, stolen by these scum bags. Hoppa, well they haven’t had the decency to respond as bloody usual, possibly they will when our solicitor requests the telephone recordings! Will never ever use or recommend these cowboys I hope you go bust!

I booked a hoppa transfer but then had to cancel a couple of days later. According to their t&cs I should have got a refund. I haven’t received a refund & so put in a complaint. They wrote back & said I had been refunded & to “contact my bank” but there was no info about when the refund was done or how much it was for. I emailed back asking for this info but never got a response & I still don’t have the refund. This company is totally dodgy. Never use them.

I booked a hoppa shuttle service for me and my daughter for the transfer from Barcelona airport to our hotel but it didn't turn up. Neither of the in-resort telephone numbers that hoppa had provided us actually worked. Eventually (after trying for almost an hour) we got through to hoppa in the UK who tried to contact the in-resort transport provider but they couldn't contact them either so we were advised to get a taxi and send the receipt to them on our return for reimbursement. Throughout our weekend we tried to contact the in-resort transport provider as our pick up time back to the airport had not been confirmed. Yet again we had to make a call to hoppa back in the UK who again, without success, also tried to contact their in-resort travel partner, and again said to get a taxi back to the airport and they would reimburse us. The hoppa representative raised a complaint ticket and emailed the details to me. On my return, as instructed by hoppa, I logged a complaint with them and sent through my taxi fare receipts. Over 2 weeks later I have heard nothing. I tried to log into my hoppa account to track the progress of my complaint ticket but I can't log in, I get a message saying I am not permitted to log in to the account! I have tried to contact by phone which rings continually and then disconnects. So I am currently out of pocket with the original booking fee of almost £40 and 75 euros in taxi fares, not to mention that a celebration weekend for my daughter graduating from Uni ended up being quite stressful because of the situation we found ourselves in with hoppa (and the saga continues due to their lack of communication since logging our complaint) . The hoppa adviser I spoke to said they had been having problems for a while with that particular transport provider in Barcelona, so why on earth were they still using them. Be very wary of using hoppa as when it goes wrong, no-one puts it right !



Looking at the reviews on FB this would seem to be a recurring theme. If I do receive a refund I will gladly update my post, but if I don't I wonder if instigating a claim through the Small Claims Court might be the solution?

I am disgusted not only have I not received my pick up time but I’ve been waiting for 3 hours on the phone to the emergency number which then tells me I have to call a different number that now no one is picking up. I’m going to miss my pick up time when I check online it tells me my reference number isn’t valid! My flight is at 4pm today!!! This is so disgusting

Horrendous service I booked a transfer from Ibiza airport to our apartments which were aparthotel Monterrey for myself another adult and 4 children and paid close to £100 when we found our coach with all our luggage the drive was trying to explain something to us about our apartment but we could not understand Spanish he ushered us onto the coach where we sat for close to an hour which as you can imagine with 4 kids after sitting on a plane for 3+ hours sat on a bus not moving for another hour is the last thing when we eventually moved off and headed towards our destination after a another hour and being the last to be left off the driver left us at the end of a dark road pointed up hill and left us so myself, sister and 4 young kids including a buggy were left to walk 10 mins uphill with 2 large suitcases 4 small a buggy travel cot and kids the road was a wide road with plenty of turning space no call for an awful start to a holiday

Booked transfers for both inbound and return services and neither turned up. Waited for 2 hours in Barcelona airport and the driver was a no show. Tried desperately to make contact on all the numbers provided which proved an impossible task which left us with no other option but to get in a taxi.

On the return journey...we confirmed pick up time with the resort office 12 hours in advance. We waited for 45 minutes for yet another no show and unable to get through to anyone via telephone...AGAIN. On return, we are still unable to get this resolved.

This company are a complete shower of incompetent morons.

I received an email on Saturday 18th August to advise we would be picked up at 5.15pm on Sunday 19th. Easy, I thought!!

Turned up at the pickup location at 5pm in 29degree heat with my husband, 7yr old, 5yr old and 4 month old baby. We had to be out of our apartment at 9am.

By 5.45pm no one had turned up so I called several times. Nobody answered the phone for 10mins. When someone finally answered they told me they would contact the driver and call me straight back. 20 mins later still no call. I then rang them again, took a couple of attempts, finally got through to be told the driver would be 10mins away. After 15mins we still hadn’t been picked up. I spoke to someone 4x and was told a pack of lies each time.

In the end the lady told us to get a taxi as she couldn’t get hold of the driver and we were in danger of missing our flight.

2hrs we waited and as there are 5 of us we had to take 2 separate taxis costing nearly €100!!!! The reason we booked hoppa was to avoid this expense and so we could all travel together!!

To say I was furious is an understatement. Will never use again and will tell everyone I know how dreadful the service is.

Terrible service. Booked from JFK to Jersey City and close to our trip we got a message to say our destination was “incorrect “ and we had to cancel and rebook. If we didn’t they would cancel and we’d lose 25% of our money. The destination they suggested we book was nowhere near where we wanted to be, however we cancelled the booking and rebooked to a hotel along the road from our initial destination. All accepted and booking confirmation received etc. Arriving after 2 flights from Spain at JFK we went to the transportation desk as instructed, the lady called Hoppa who said “No we don’t go to Jersey City at all” the lady told them we had booking confirmation and they just said no. They would only take us to Manhattan, no where near!! Furious � I still haven’t been refunded for first cancellation yet. Currently around £140 owed back to us and cost us close to $90 for a taxi. Avoid at all costs.

Pre booked and paid for our transfer. Stood in Madrid airport and called customer services as we can’t locate our driver. Phoned the main office who were disinterested and asked me to call the emergency numbers myself directly. This takes you to the drivers directly the provider rather than speaking to the agent. No answer on both emergency numbers. So I called Hoppa back who are again took my details and said they would look into the location of our driver, put on hold for 11 minutes before I eventually hung up - at no point did they jump back into the call and reassure me they were still there! I called them back to make sure they hadn’t forgotten about me. She quickly told me to put the phone down as the chap dealing with my enquiry will be trying to call me back....well 2 calls to the emergency number and 3 calls back to Hoppa and I STILL haven’t received a call back. I think they know my number now and not answering my calls. Disgusting customer services. The provider has told me directly they arent turning up but that I need to speak to Hoppa about this as we have pre-paid. So Hoppa know no the driver isnt coming for us but don’t have the decency to call me with a solution or explain how we will get a refund. An hour later made our own arrangements but I won’t hold my breath that they Hoppa staff will have the decency to call me back and tell me the driver isn’t coming!!

My girlfriend and I booked a ‘maximum 4 stop shuttle bus’ through Hoppa for our holiday in Majorca at the start of July ’18. We have always booked private transfers and after reading fairly positive reviews on here and TripAdvisor I though I would give Hoppa a try – never again!



Landing at Palma airport we were greeted to a queue of 20+ people all being served by a single, disorganised desk. After waiting in line for 40 minutes we were finally ushered onto a coach, which stopped 7 times before our stop. When it came to our transfer home, we waited outside of the hotel as instructed, 15 minutes before pickup. 45 minutes passed and still no sign of our bus, after numerous calls to the ‘emergency’ helpline and being cut off our call finally connected. We were informed that our bus was not going to come and advised to pay for a taxi and submit the receipt for a refund once home.



I submitted the receipt for 80EUR as soon as we got home, 16/07/2018, after much chasing, I have today 04/09/2018 finally received my full refund.



Not picking us up isn’t the end of the world, I understand things don’t always run like clockwork, we made our flight which was all that mattered. My issue is the lax attitude the company has to dealing with complaints! They are absolutely terrible to deal with, nobody answers the phone or replies to emails. They quoted 10 working days for a full resolution, in actual time it took 37, not acceptable for an issue that you admitted fault to!



Their only saving grace has been somebody who replied to me on Twitter (Fabio Narbonese) who has been excellent in dealing with my complaint. Thank you Fabio, the rest of the company could learn a lot from you!



A word of advice for anybody looking to use this company – DON’T! This is your holiday, a time to kick back and relax, don’t make the same mistake as me. Pay a little extra and book a private transfer or use a different company altogether!

I booked through Hoppa no problem! Taxi at Faro airport to go to Alvor, no problem, Hubby left his mobile in taxi, realising within 5 mins of being dropped off we call the local number, who call jean Paul the driver, yes he has phone, no he won’t bring it back collect at airport in 10 days! Very rude Bridgette at the airport! We call Laurence at hoppa to double check the phone will be there, he guaranteed my husband the calls are recorded Miguel at Faro has the phone! 10 days later I’m at the desk, what phone? , nope we never had your phone, you’re stupid, while trying to compose my dignity in the middle of Faro airport, these are nothing but lying, thieving scum, treating other people in the queue like 2nd class citizens, so in short £800 phone gone, stolen by these scum bags. Hoppa, well they haven’t had the decency to respond as bloody usual, possibly they will when our solicitor requests the telephone recordings! Will never ever use or recommend these cowboys I hope you go bust!

I booked a hoppa transfer but then had to cancel a couple of days later. According to their t&cs I should have got a refund. I haven’t received a refund & so put in a complaint. They wrote back & said I had been refunded & to “contact my bank” but there was no info about when the refund was done or how much it was for. I emailed back asking for this info but never got a response & I still don’t have the refund. This company is totally dodgy. Never use them.

I booked a hoppa shuttle service for me and my daughter for the transfer from Barcelona airport to our hotel but it didn't turn up. Neither of the in-resort telephone numbers that hoppa had provided us actually worked. Eventually (after trying for almost an hour) we got through to hoppa in the UK who tried to contact the in-resort transport provider but they couldn't contact them either so we were advised to get a taxi and send the receipt to them on our return for reimbursement. Throughout our weekend we tried to contact the in-resort transport provider as our pick up time back to the airport had not been confirmed. Yet again we had to make a call to hoppa back in the UK who again, without success, also tried to contact their in-resort travel partner, and again said to get a taxi back to the airport and they would reimburse us. The hoppa representative raised a complaint ticket and emailed the details to me. On my return, as instructed by hoppa, I logged a complaint with them and sent through my taxi fare receipts. Over 2 weeks later I have heard nothing. I tried to log into my hoppa account to track the progress of my complaint ticket but I can't log in, I get a message saying I am not permitted to log in to the account! I have tried to contact by phone which rings continually and then disconnects. So I am currently out of pocket with the original booking fee of almost £40 and 75 euros in taxi fares, not to mention that a celebration weekend for my daughter graduating from Uni ended up being quite stressful because of the situation we found ourselves in with hoppa (and the saga continues due to their lack of communication since logging our complaint) . The hoppa adviser I spoke to said they had been having problems for a while with that particular transport provider in Barcelona, so why on earth were they still using them. Be very wary of using hoppa as when it goes wrong, no-one puts it right !



Looking at the reviews on FB this would seem to be a recurring theme. If I do receive a refund I will gladly update my post, but if I don't I wonder if instigating a claim through the Small Claims Court might be the solution?

I am disgusted not only have I not received my pick up time but I’ve been waiting for 3 hours on the phone to the emergency number which then tells me I have to call a different number that now no one is picking up. I’m going to miss my pick up time when I check online it tells me my reference number isn’t valid! My flight is at 4pm today!!! This is so disgusting

Horrendous service I booked a transfer from Ibiza airport to our apartments which were aparthotel Monterrey for myself another adult and 4 children and paid close to £100 when we found our coach with all our luggage the drive was trying to explain something to us about our apartment but we could not understand Spanish he ushered us onto the coach where we sat for close to an hour which as you can imagine with 4 kids after sitting on a plane for 3+ hours sat on a bus not moving for another hour is the last thing when we eventually moved off and headed towards our destination after a another hour and being the last to be left off the driver left us at the end of a dark road pointed up hill and left us so myself, sister and 4 young kids including a buggy were left to walk 10 mins uphill with 2 large suitcases 4 small a buggy travel cot and kids the road was a wide road with plenty of turning space no call for an awful start to a holiday

Booked transfers for both inbound and return services and neither turned up. Waited for 2 hours in Barcelona airport and the driver was a no show. Tried desperately to make contact on all the numbers provided which proved an impossible task which left us with no other option but to get in a taxi.

On the return journey...we confirmed pick up time with the resort office 12 hours in advance. We waited for 45 minutes for yet another no show and unable to get through to anyone via telephone...AGAIN. On return, we are still unable to get this resolved.

I’ve used this company in a few countries, never had any problems, drivers always on time and very courteous, I usually book a private hire (there’s discounts available all year) and drivers are always at the airport waiting for us, only issue is there’s not much point booking the speedy bus, they always go over the amount of stops you pay for, so your just as well getting the cheaper option

Used Hoppa lots of time in the past with no issue but last holiday had a bit of a nightmare when the transfer didnt turn up to take us back to the airport. Had to book a taxi and pay over 170 euros. I took this up with Hoppa when I got back and they complained to local provider who took full responsibility. I was given full refund for the transfer and the taxi fare. I will probably use them again as previous experiences have always been good and this last time they did sort it out quickly.

I have used the Hoppa service for journeys to and from Corfu Airport to my home a few times. The actual transportation and pick up service has been good but the customer service when you have a query is rubbish.

If you use the ticket system on their website they take 5-7 days to reply to you and then only send you copy pasted information irrelevant to what you’ve asked. They shouldn’t offer this service if it doesn’t work. In the end we had to telephone to get anywhere.

so hoppa never even bothered to pick me and my friend up from our hotel in Portugal and we nearly missed our flight home.

all our paper work was correct but they told us on the phone they wer at our hotel at 4am even tho pick up time was 8:10.

They refused to send anybody else!!!

There was even a transfer from this picking up at that exact time going to the airport aswel they some how failed to get me and my friend on it.

We were left stranded at Pisa airport late at night with no transfer whatsoever. When we called Hoppa they said they couldn't get in touch with the driver and didn't have any more information.



Eventually we called the local company who was providing the service. They told us that they had only been made aware of the transfer a few hours previously and the price was far too low for them to complete the journey, so they simply weren't coming. The worst thing is that they said Hoppa were able to get through to them and had literally just been on the phone, but when Hoppa called us back, they said they still were unable to get in touch. I'm not sure why they felt the need to lie and as us to wait longer as it was just getting later and later.



This whole process took us about an hour, at which point the trains were not running and we had no choice but to get a taxi for 270 euros. When I asked, Hoppa did agree to let us claim the money for the taxi back, so we shall see if this actually happens!



All in all, really bad experience and lack of communication was the worst part. I'm so pleased I wasn't by myself. I think they would actually be much better off increasing their prices a bit in order to provide a more trustworthy service, as that's what's most important when arriving in a new country.



Back in the UK, I've raised a ticket to get a refund for the taxi and they have simply ignored it - it's been over a month now with no response. Will never use again.

We got instructions to go to a shop in the airport and present our ticket, the contact person was gonna show us where the bus was. In the shop, they had no clue. Outside of the shop, no one was to be found. Hoppa had no stand, no one with a sign, nothing, .. in the airport. After an hour I called them, got an impolite "ello" and asking for my booking number. No name, no company name, just got told to wait 2 minutes. 2 minutes became half an hour. I tried contacting them twice again in that time, but got no one on the phone.

Eventually there was no bus, but just a car. Guy dropped us of at the hotel.

For the return trip to the airport, i had booked at 11h; since our flight was at 14h. The day before I had to call for pickup time, they told me we would be picked up at 0720 ... . I told them that was way too early. Again, on the phone, just an impolite "ello", no name, no companyname, ... . I told them this was not acceptable, to make me wait at the airport for an extra 4 hours. An hour later they called again, to confirm pickup time at 0720. I told them not to bother showing up. Guy said he couldnt change anything. And yes .... there they were, at 0720, calling our hotel room while we were sleeping. Told them to go away, we ended up taking the public transport. Was cheaper and faster.

We booked a Hoppa from Praia da Luz to Faro Airport on June 2 for my son Fergus Ref: Number Q1662678 and it did not turn up. We had to run around the town on foot to make sure it hadn't gone to the wrong pick up spot and then when we finally got the local person on the phone, they then made us phone the UK (at great cost) only to discover that they had not properly booked our Hoppa and it wasn't coming, despite having sent us a confirmation email. Hoppa then said they would refund their fee and also pay for the taxi we had to book. It is now 2 months later and no refund yet despite lots of emails and facebook messenger messages by both me and my son. We are very upset by this treatment as we have been regular Hoppa users and have in the past advised many people to use their service. But even if this had been the first time we had used Hoppa they should have been more professional and, admitting they were to blame, recompensed us for our trouble and anxiety right away as they promised. I would love to know how they are going to provide good service recovery to make up for all this. And I will be happy to share it on social media if they properly recompense us.

Transfer to the airport did not arrive, we called them, we were rudely told they have no driver to pick us up and to ‘get a taxi’. We are now racing to the airport in a taxi and hope not to miss our flight! Apparently they have only 10 minibuses in the whole of the Algarve according to our ‘rescue’ taxi driver! Do not use this company If you want a stress free airport transfer! No apologies or refunds... it’s a good job we called them as they were not going to call us! Firstly you send me 2 emails from the supplier and the agent with different pick up times and hotels then I ring the supplier 3 times who assured me that a pick up time was correct. Waited at the time and bus did not show. My friend who was on the same bus said they went to different hotel and drove off and he tried to tell driver who said sorry not good English.
