Horton Treatment Centre on International Nurses Day arranged for the nurses and supporting staff to put their feet up and have a pamper!
Hard-working nurses need time to relax, and getting a massage is a fun and healthy way to indulge. To give the nurses a treat and thank them for their outstanding care and hard work a therapist attended site and 20 minute sessions of relaxing massage made available.

Went in today for right knee arthroscopy. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left I felt like I mattered. Nothing was too much and despite it being a very busy day for appointments , the staff were all attentive smiley and caring. Can not fault my treatment here and would highly recommend to anyone. Thankyou for making my day stay so comfortable ’┐Į’┐Į

User

WOW what a pleasure to use this unit. All staff happy smiling and knew what they were doing. Explaining everything as they went,

Would recommend anyone to go there if they get the choice. and would want to go back for more treatment if it's required.

User

The staff were absolutely fantastic can't praise them enough. Everyone from the Samantha the healthcare assistant Katie the nurse the anistatist and student and nurse and of course my surgeon Mr Appan.

Felt really cared for no one rushed me everything was when your ready etc.

Best hospital experience I have ever had. Not that I've been in a lot but still.

User

Superb staff, all levels very caring and incredible H & S attention to detail. I didn't mind answering the same question 3 or 4 times because it made me feel safe. The professionalism of the nurse and the surgeon talking to me all the way through the procedure also made me feel safe and comfortable. Why of why do they want to downgrade a hospital that gives so much, is such a warm environment and works as a team so well. Beurocrats just don't see any of these things

User

My husband was discharged from hospital yesterday after his hip replacement and we cannot fault this brilliant hospital. The Surgeon and his theatre team were all reassuring and efficient and all of the Ward staff without exception were excellent. The hospital is exceptionally clean and very well run and has a calm and relaxed feel , a very good experience from the moment we arrived until we were discharged. A Big Thank You to all of the amazing Staff.

User

I would definitely recommend this centre. Every member of staff from Student to Surgeon and all the non medical staff were highly professional and friendly. I actually felt valued, not just a number, and I couldn't have asked for a more efficient and reassuring experience. Every where was spotless and time was taken to explain everything and allow for questions. Simply cannot understand the need for any potential downgrade. I would not hesitate to rate the Horton Treatment Centre and it would certainly be my first preference.

User

I went in on July 4th for a hip replacement. I arrived at 7.30 am but from the outset everyone was so caring and friendly, and cheerful. There was a lot of laughs along the way too. And the treatment was top draw, I have so much movement in my hip now. Many, many thanks to Mr. Luc Boizot, Eva (my anaesthetist), and all the team on the ward and in physio for a fantastic job. And the food is good too, no wonder they won the award again. This hospital makes the patient feel very special. Would recommend here to anyone, thank you all.

User

I was discharged yesterday after my hip replacement. I had excellent treatment from all of the staff. There is a wonderful caring atmosphere here. The staff, not only give 100% to the patients but they care for each other. The hospital is spotless and very well equipped. Thank you all.

User

I have just spent 4 days at the HTC in Banbury having a total knee replacement. The Nurses, physics and all of the staff are Outstanding. I have never been treated with such care at any other hospital. I have to give a shout out to a Wonderful nurse called Claire, she got me through a couple of very emotional days. If it was possible to keep in touch with this lady then I think

I would have a friend for life. She kept me sane. Also Sammy, I misjudged you, you are amazing.

Cannot thank these Ladies enough. Will return once I can drive again to pay this wonderful team a visit.

User

I have just listed the first names of some of the staff who used their skills for my hip replacement last week over 40 in these teams surgical and medical doctors , day and night shift nurses ,radiographers , hospitality, anaesthetists and post op recovery and physios . What a team from all over the world .You were all great

User

I have just had two visits to the Horton treatment centre to have steroid injections in both hands. I cannot thank the consultant and all the staff enough. The nurse in the treatment room (Jo Malcher) was very kind and thoughtful which made the visit a lot easier.

User

I have just been in for a carpal tunnel and can not fault Mr Ahand and his team. I was able to ask any question and everyone that I met was so kind. The team all work together like a well oiled machine. I look forward to coming back to have the other hand done.

User

I have just arrived home after five days as a guest of the Horton Treatment Centre and having a total right knee replacement conducted by Luc Boizot.

In my 64 years I have unfortunately had my fair share of being an inpatient in many different hospitals. I can, however, say that without a shadow of doubt, my experience this week has topped the lot.

There aren't enough superlatives in the OED to describe the care I've received. From the surgical team, to the ward staff, physio's, admin, catering and housekeeping, all have been beyond reproach.

I admit that I'm not planning to repeat the experience in the foreseeable future, but if it is necessary I know where I'm heading.

Thank you.

User

I have a huge huge debt of gratitude to the staff of the Ramsay Centre. From super fast referral and treatment to expert care when I collapsed after an embarrassingly minor procedure a few days ago. THANK YOU all so much xxx

User

Had wonderful treatment from Mr Ajay and the delightful Jo in Radiology for the past two Fridays, they made me feel very relaxed about my procedure and were very informative about what was going on. Well done to all the guys at the centre, you made my visit a pleasure.

User

Excellent staff, from my surgeon Luc Boizot, anaesthetic team and all the nursing and support staff. Total new left hip in mid January, now back riding my horse without pain.

User

Day surgery 3/5/17 - Mr Shafighian & team - Ulnar reset.

thank you, is not enough.

there is no comparison between pre & post op.

it is difficult to put to words the reality of being able to trust my left hand, to do what I ask of it & the impact of actually being able to feel what it is doing.

Way beyond 5 star.

User

Couldn't fault a thing. From being greeted by the very helpful and happy receptionist, I went onto the unit. Nothing too much trouble, reassuring and very helpful nurses and the kindness of the theatre and physio team, came home mended and comfortable.

Thank you all so much

User
