Well what can I say about this place? It's absolutely fantastic and Paul the landlord is a lovely guy. Can't believe in the 6yrs that I've been living here I have never been in there. Such a quirky little place with lots of character and the Black Russian Porter that I had was an absolutely fantastic drop of ale. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to all. Keep up the good work Paul. Further to add we've got to come back because of the gammon.

We sail in to Ramsgate for a few days several times a year and the Hovelling Boat is always our first stop. One of the best small pubs in Kent!

Such a delightful little place, lovely atmosphere, conversation fills the air... amazing selection of drink and very polite people!

Outstanding well worth a visit will go back again when in area

No music. No ‘pub grub’. Just well kept real ale and friendly conversation.

Nice atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and a choice of 6 beers so your bound to find one that your palate will enjoy.

My wife and I went there as our usual local was closed. We were made welcome into a pub with a warm atmosphere & friendly staff. The beer was great, I had a black ipa & my wife had a golden ale both were very moreish. We have already said that we would pop in again next time we were in the area & will probably try the food as what we saw looked nice

My fave pub in Ramsgate. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and always have a good choice of beers to choose from. Kids welcome too which is always a plus. �

Great little pub. A veritable oasis. Great beer, good service and a decent bit of cheese in the rolls. Worth more than one visit.

Fantastic micro-pub, that's every bit as good as the best traditional pubs. Excellent beer selection and condition. The cheese board was a real treat.

Always a pleasure to visit this fantastically friendly micro pub in Ramsgate. Wayne, Gordon and Tracy have very much continued the great atmosphere established by Paul. Well done ;-)
