This week Matthew, Martin and Carol Humphris attended a Banbury Cross Players perfomance of The Death Knell, written by James Cawood.
It's a fast paced psychological thirller with many twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seats and, as always, a very enjoyable evening illustrating the hugely talented and entertaining Banbury Cross Players. Well done and thank you to all involved!

James John Denly - 'Jim'
We recently looked after the funeral arrangements for Mr Jim Denly, a retained Firefighter, and the family wished for us to share some of the photos taken on the day.
Jim had great courage, a determination to put others first and deep honest principles of hard work and fairness. He was a much loved son, husband, brother, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
Peter Payne
With great sadness the family of Peter, of Helmdon, announce his passing on 20th April 2019 at home aged 78 years. He will be very sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
Peter's funeral service will take place at Helmdon Parish Church on Thursday 2nd May 2019 at 2 pm, followed by a private burial. On Saturday 6th April we were very pleased to sponsor the game between Banbury Utd and King's Lynn Town.
It was a very exciting game which had everything and Banbury came out on top 2-0. It was especially pleasing because King's Lynn had won their previous 4 matches and are 3rd in the league. We gave the Man of the Match award to goalkeeper Jack Harding who was fantastic, in spite of the fact that both Greg Kaziboni and Amer Awadh scored brilliant goals.
Odyssey Theatre still have tickets available for their upcoming perfomance of Our House, a musical mix of music & lyrics by Madness, "It Must Be Love" written by Labi Siffre, and a book by playwright Tim Firth.
The show runs from 11th to 13th April and we wish everyone involved all the very best!
There's still time to get a ticket for Avocet Theatre Company's musical presentation of Snow White this Thursday, 28th March, at Wykham Park Academy Theatre.
The show is running from Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th March and we would like to say 'break a leg' to all involved.
