Tonight we will be closed due to the pizza chimney having a professional clean due to all winds we had last week, we wanted to have this done before the busy weekend. We will be open as normal from tomorrow 28th March from 6pm

We had a lovely meal here last night, the staff were so friendly and attentive and the pizzas were amazing! The calzone was the best I've ever had - if you had a takeaway delivery I'd be ordering it again right now��

We celebrated two family Birthdays today at this lovely Authentic Italian Restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble service was impeccable and the food which is cooked fresh to order was superb. I can honestly say the pizza is the best I have ever had and they even do a lovely roast if that is what you want. Desserts are to die for. I have no hesitation in recommending this Restaurant for a very enjoyable experience

Pizza is out of this world great taste and the kids choose their own toppings without any trouble great vegetarian options as well

My son hadn't eaten steak in over a year - couldn't find anything near the Canadian steaks he loved. Tried the steak here - amazing!!! The staff ate friendly and attentive and the chocolate ice cream with espresso is to die for

Lovely restaurant great food and wonderful staff who make you feel very welcome. If you haven't tried it yet please go. I've seen this place so many times when in or passing through town and wrongly assumed that it would be a very expensive eatery - how wrong I was the prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. Just goes to show "don't judge on appearance". We look forward to visiting again soon thanks Il Padrino for a lovely meal.

Just amazing authentic food. Great service a place I would totally recommend. A small treasure in Gravesend. Really worth visiting and great value. Try the pizzas.

I've gone vegan, and these guys can't do enough for me. Had a really tasty off the menu dish. My omnivore husband tried it and loved it. �

I never normally write reviews however this restaurant completely exceeded all expectations, the food was amazing along with the customer service! Such a friendly welcoming family restaurant, by far the most enjoyable meal we have had as a family in a very long time so thank you! Couldn't recommend you enough, we most definitely will return xxxx

I don't normally leave reviews but this was such an amazing find. The food was incredible and really fresh. Gavi was lovely and only £25 a bottle. But the service made it even better, the lovely staff can't do enough for you, without being intrusive. Thanks so much.

Had a lovely meal at Il Padrino last night. We started with bread sticks and cheese sticks. Then I had the Italian meat pizza and my husband had pepperoni pizza. We then finished it off with ice cream and tiramisu. The restaurant was a great find, lovely friendly people. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Great evening. The best pizza � I have every had. Lovely staff would 100% go back and would recommend to people. Nice that the chef came out at the end to talk to us and ask how the food was.

Excellent food, great service, friendly family owned restaurant. I had steak which was the best I have tasted and my daughter had the pizza, she loved it and I rarely eat a dessert but had the chocolate orange cake and it was lovely. I highly recommend you try this fantastic restaurant and on another plus side very reasonably priced

Eat here regularly, I thought the pizza was great and then one of the chef's persuaded me to try a few other dishes. I love the chicken with pepperroni and the Barnsley chop. Very personal service and the coffee alone is worth 5stars. Thanks il Padrino.

Delicious freshly made Neapolitan pizza with a real pizza oven from Italy - right on our doorstep....amazing!! Service and hospitality from owners & staff was great - very friendly and genuine people!

Everyone should go and it's so reasonably priced too!

Amazing little family ran traditional Italian restaurant! With a great atmosphere and very good food ... The staff are so efficient and friendly ... Such a welcoming place! Me and my friends all has a great time and will be coming bac soon ... Thanks so much to all at il padrino for making our night out even better :) xx

A great friendly atmosphere. The food portions were so much we struggled to eat it. But all tasted delicious anyway. We will return and hopefully on a night when the live band is there!! We thank you for an enjoyable meal for us and our family . Highly recommended
