Here at Inca Alpaca we are dedicated to breeding the very finest black alpacas and helping our clients achieve their goals. With over 20 years experience in breeding alpacas we can offer you the very latest in alpaca breeding advice and alpaca selection. The full support that we offer helps to maximize the success of your herd and business.
We are very focused on the long term future of the UK alpaca industry. In order to grow and value add our raw alpaca fibre commercially for entry on the world market we must increase animal fibre growing capacity and farm efficiency.
Our priorities here at Inca Alpaca are breeding healthy and happy alpacas that increase in productivity each generation. We aim to breed alpacas that exhibit correct and heavy frames that are suited to carry the increased fleece weights that we bred into them. The last 8 years have seen productivity rise by 100% with average male fleece weights reaching 4kg with a maximum of 5. 5kg per annum.

Part of the Inca Alpaca show team enjoying the morning sunshine. What super weather we are having.
We still can't quite believe our results from the BAS National Show last weekend. Three champions, two reserve champions and first in the dark sires progeny certainly exceeded our expectations.
Of course we, like everyone else, love to win and gain recognition at shows, however our business is so much more than that. Providing support to those that purchased from us and watching them have success in the show ring, getting involved in industry initiatives via the BAS board to ...promote the health and welfare of alpacas and alpaca ownership, national show organisation, having skilled and dedicated staff in place and of course judging all over the world. All of these things contribute to our business and these show results are just the icing on the cake.
Congratulations to our friends who also had some great success at the show last weekend.

A service to Beck Brow Jimmy Choos is on offer this week on the BAS National Show Stud Service Auction.
Jimmy was introduced to our stable of sires in order to build on high density, longevity of fineness, staple length and overall fast body growth within our breeding programme.
His last show award was at the 2018 Heart of England ALpaca Fiesta where he won Champion Black Male and Judges Choice Huacaya.
... His cria are uniform in every way and are proving that Jimmy is a vital link in the chain as we press this breed forward. Please see some cria fleece photos below.
