If you’re having difficulty with your horse either in its flatwork or jumping, a professional rider and instructor can help take a sympathetic approach to finding a solution and help you achieve your goals. Once the ridden behaviou...r has been resolved lessons can be offered on site so that all parties can work together to ensure consistency.

The visible benefits of grass!
In the first picture Frankie was on ad lib hay with an additional hard feed in the morning and evening yet his condition was still poor as this wasn't enough with the added stress of being stabled for long periods. Fast forward a few weeks of him being on grass for around 14 hours in the night and look at the difference! He still has muscle to build which we're doing with the incredible hacking on our doorstep but look how much more coverage he... has now as well as that healthy coat 😁😁
It's the simple changes in management when you allow a horse to be a horse that make all the difference

After a busy week getting the ponies settled at our new yard it was nice to go out and have a jump on grumpy around the 1.05 at Codham Park Equestrian

Here is grumpy (a.k.a 'zorro scontroso,' a.k.a 'stop doing that') having two down in the discovery after a weekend of having fences In the beautiful sun at the ever friendly and welcoming Cherwell Competition Centre. Finally managed to crack her ring green-ness (touch wood) so we can leave British novices behind In search of higher jumps! Very excited to start progressing again with a horse I find incredibly rewarding to ride! Now I just need my sunburnt nose to heal and I'm ready for the next show 😂

Beautiful days jumping in the sun at Cherwell Competition Centre. 4 faults in both our bn and discovery but very pleased as we seem to be working through our ring green-ness issues after a few weeks of treading water! Looking forward to another day in the sun and hopefully some clear rounds

Arrived at Cherwell Competition Centre and Grumpy schooled beautifully before the weekend ahead, getting much more established with our flatwork now!

Loving klaudia! The flying cow showed lots of promise today as well as giving us lots to work towards. Hopefully fixed grumpys slight streak of stopping now aswell after an elimination in the bn followed by a couple of poles in the discovery. Lots to do!

Nice to finally have the warmer weather! These two are enjoying a nice stretch in the shade after a morning of madness in the fields 😁

What a great analogy.. the quick fix is never a real fix!

Shaky start at arena UK this weekend with me forgetting I was riding a baby horse (sack the jockey) and rushing our warm up, resulting in grumpy a.k.a zorro scontroso going green in the ring and us getting eliminated in the discovery on friday. After a quick clear round and giving her alot more time to adjust and relax into her new surroundings In the warm up for the British novice on Saturday we jumped a double clear and placed 7th, while frank on a ticket had a single refus...al I'm the first phase (which we were fairly happy with as we have had some issues together up until now.) Going into Sunday grumpy felt much more like her usual bold self with a double clear I'm the British novice to finish 2nd and another double clear I'm the 1m scope qualifier to place 4th. All In all super thrilled with how it all turned out and super thankful to everyone from the event managers and staff for putting it on to everyone who helped me both morally and with warm ups/ holding the world's most annoying horse! Finally got the pictures from codham on Tuesday!

Grumpy looking beautiful after Yasmin Stuart Equine Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation worked us hard in our lesson yesterday

(late update because still waiting for the pictures to be uploaded so I can buy one) codham on Tuesday was wet and chilly but grumpy jumped well for a fence down in the bn and a double clear in the discovery! Not quite sure where I placed as it got announced as 2nd on the day but has since been uploaded to their Facebook page and the bs website as 3rd.. not that I care, I'm just super chuffed with the clever pony!

Jake is a very conscientious and sympathetic rider. His patient, gentle approach mean that he can get the best out of even the most difficult and sensitive horses. He is refreshing to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for help be it with their horses tuition or their own tuition.
