In our opinion, the E39 BMW M5 was the greatest super saloon ever made when it launched at the 1998 Geneva Motorshow. Nearly 20 years later, it is safe to say the model has achieved an almost mythical notoriety as one of the finest high performance sports saloons for those who seek true driving nirvana.
We previously sold this wonderful example to a very particular and well-known car ...collector, who has recently placed an order for the latest generation M90 M5, so this unique M5 is looking to find a new custodian. Finished in gleaming Royal Red coachwork, this superb M5 (E39) was an original BMW UK Ltd Press Car and one of the first to be made available to the UK market.
