ANCIENT HEALING OF TOK-SEN MASSAGE ┬Ż80/120min
Tok Sen ancient Thai Therapy is from the Lan Na district, northern Thailand. It is an incredibly soothing massage treatment and very effective at promoting a sense of calm and eliminates the effects of stress and restores the mental state of a person. According to legend, this massage is more than 2500 years old. Traditional Thai and Chinese medicine maintains that a person is healthy only when ŌĆ£chiŌĆØ flows without obstruction. In ...addition to the stagnation in the energy meridians, the main places of blocking the passage of energy in the body are the bunches (especially along the spine), where it is difficult being worked by conventional massage techniques. Tok Sen allows the master to reach the energy blocks with this painless technique by tapping wooden hammers and create vibratory waves to penetrate deep into the tissues. It also activates the acupressure points and promote the normal flow of energy in the body. A special wooden hammer and wedge made from a wood of tamarind tree that has been struck by lightening are used to tap rhythmically along energylines (similar to meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine). Once carved, a Buddhist monk blesses it, giving it special healing powers. This method of rhythmic tapping creates a resonance that passes through the muscles and into the rest of the body. Tok Sen is used in combination with traditional Thai massage and its an excellent choice for those who enjoy a firm yet deeply relaxing massage experience. This therapy is indicated for: Recovery from stress and heavy physical exertion; Is good for headaches, neurasthenia, pain in the spine and joints; Loosening and failure of the immune system; Reduction of muscle tone; Muscle tension incl. nerve problems & poor blood circulation; Fatigue and lack of vitality; Positive evects of Tok Sen massage: Perfectly aligns the bodyŌĆÖs energy, removes blockages in the energy meridians; Cleanses the body of toxins and eliminates tension in the muscles and fascia; This treatment is 2 hour long, including a personal consultation and done clothed.
