Guess who’s back? 🥐 thanks for your patience while I took a lil break from pastries and stuff. I’ll be back at @cliftonvillefarmmkt this weekend with all of the usuals; plus banana bread, brownies and some other cakes 🍰 I’ve had some time to think and I’m scaling back a little - I want to make sure I still love making croissants as much as I did when I started. For that reason, you’ll have to place any orders through me directly or catch me at the Farmer’s Market each month. Looking forward to feeding you all again on Sunday!

CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS 🎄sad to say that I’m not taking anymore home delivery orders until the new year. Croissants will still be available daily from @kgwinters.stores 🥐 I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support I’ve received since starting up this tiny buttery business earlier this year; but life is getting in the way and I want to make sure I can deliver the best croissants ever, every time. At the moment I don’t have the capacity to do that. Come January I’ll be back with a) a new oven b) my health c) my happiness ✨ thanks for all your orders over the past few months - it’s been a pleasure to feed you and I can’t wait to get stuck in again in 2019!

Fancy some festive treats? Head to the vintage Christmas sale this Sunday with beautiful, unique vintage from @cecilia.jenkins @maidinmargate and @kavelrafferty ; plus mince pies, Christmas pastries and sausage rolls by yours truly. 11am-5pm, Sunday 2nd November, Studio 11 (11 Marine Gardens, CT9 1UN). There’ll be mulled wine!

The winter menu has arrived! ✨ I’ve been working (and laminating) so hard over the past few weeks to bring you a selection of pastries that’ll give you all the toasty vibes as the weather gets chillier ❄️ I’ve kept all of your favourites (the raspberry and almond is still there!) and got rid of some of the more summery treats. The menu will be available to order for home delivery from next Saturday (17 November) or for wholesale from next Monday (12 November) 👩🏻‍🍳 I hope you love the menu as much as I’ve loved creating it 🥐 PS. I don’t want to mention the C word (🎅), but that menu is coming soon too!

Croissant lovers of Cliftonville! 🥐 I won’t be at the Farmer’s Market this Sunday. I think it’s important for small businesses to keep it real, so here’s whats going on. Things have been crazy over the past few weeks and I’ve picked up some amazing new wholesale orders meaning I’m now making croissants seven days a week. Luckily, I still love it, but I am getting pretty exhausted. Unlike lots of other croissant makers, I make and roll my dough by hand which is therapeutic and... restricting in equal measure. Croissants take two days to make from start to finish; and with working an actual job (I’m a freelance journalist in my parallel life); keeping all my lovely stockists happy and maintaining some semblance of a social life - I’m struggling to find the time to whip up 300 croissants for Sundays market. I also want to make sure I deliver the best croissants ever, and I want to experiment with some new flavours for autumn to keep you all excited. Oh, and my marquee was £60 from Argos and the weather forecast is set for wind and rain. Those who’ve visited me in the past few months will have seen me clinging on to my marquee for dear life while the sea wind whips at my stall. Anyway, I’ll be back next month better than ever. On Sunday you can get your fix from the beautiful @kgwinters.stores where I’ll be dropping off a huge batch of all your faves. I’ll also be doing the usual home deliveries tomorrow morning and taking orders for those up until 4pm today, so DM me if you’d like some. Thanks for your support over the past few months - there’s nothing I love more than seeing you lot covered in croissant crumbs with buttery fingers at the farmers market. Joyce’s is a dream come true and my only asset in the changing fortunes of time (to quote Ehrmann’s Desiderata) - I want every croissant to be as delicious as the first.

Popped into the lushhhh new @kgwinters.stores this morning to drop off my first delivery of croissants 🥐 I’ll be supplying every day, so if you can’t wait until Saturdays or the farmers market for your fix of the raspberry and almond croissants that always sell out, get down there! 👩‍🌾 they’ve also got @modernprovider bread and loads of local fruit and veg - it’s a dream! Oh hello! It’s been a while. I’ve been beavering away in the kitchen with some cakes for the lovely @malakaffe and getting ready for this Sunday’s @cliftonvillefarmmkt 👩🏻‍🍳 I’ve still got a few delivery slots for this Saturday morning (after a bit of oven drama last weekend) so slide into my DMs if you want some buttery bad boys to kick off your weekend 🥐 menu is somewhere on the grid. I’m so excited for @margatepride tomorrow! I’ll be delivering a croissant-shaped prize from the Pride raffle and a pain au chocolat-shaped insta giveaway in the morning (even though I’ve had a few too many ‘I’m-so-excited-I-could-die’ wines).
