June Cakes is run and owned by Abi Reddick (me : )). My love for baking came when I would assist my Nanny June in the kitchen making her signature lemon cake along with her various other recipes and I have never stopped baking since.

Since Nanny June passed away, I have made it my mission to make her proud, and pass on her recipes in edible form. Although I now focus on celebration cakes, the sponge recipes remain the same, just jazzed up a little with decoration.

I have come a long way over the years, previously owning the page 'The Purple Hut', but, I feel like I have moved on from that now, I have a lot more knowledge under my belt which will continue to grow and evolve with me.
