Another issue which is getting common on the GTRs unfortunately :( Rear subframe corrosion. It is such a shame to see a solid subframe to be rotting away beyond repair after 10 years. Luckily we are able to source another one is good condition and as a precaution we have it treated and powder coated before swapping it over. Now it is better than when it was new :D :D

As Nissan GTRs, 370Zs and Muranos are getting older we have started to see more and more steering lock failure. This issue will happen without any warning and will cause the car to not start at all (you will not even able to turn the ignition on). Nissan can quote for a replacement lock unit anywhere between £1300 to £1600 (depending the dealer). The suggestion of removing the fuse would work only if your lock is still operational, and still carry the risk of the lock get e...ngaged mechanically causing safety issues. We can offer you 2 possible solutions for this issue: Solution one is for people who want to have a steering lock working as designed by the manufacture, we can supply and fit the latest lock unit from Nissan (same price as your local dealership with one year warranty) plus 1 hour labour (works out £1223.29 at today's price) Solution two is for people who don't want to risk this failure again: our replacement lock which is modified by Nissan themselves and basically just the small computer without the mechanical lock part. This would cost you £510 including parts labour and VAT and comes with a lifetime warranty from Kaizer Motor. . This part isn't available from Nissan Dealers as they are not selling it in Europe only in Japan. Please bear in mind the second solution is removing the steering lock itself from the car so you will able to turn the steering wheel even when the car is locked. Is it time to replace the brake disc? I think so ;)

People out there: please don't use bathroom sealant on your oil pan :O

It doesn't matter if your car is a Nissan GTR or "just" an everyday run around, you get the same attention to detail. So when this Mazda 6 customer came in with brake issues we've found a number of issues. After 3 hours of cleaning, lubricating and replacing parts the stopping power is restored and the customer is safe to drive his car once again. :)

Another horror story from a Nissan Dealership nearby :( Customer took this Qashqai to them for an MOT and complained about vibration after driving the car for a few miles. Dealer couldn't confirm the vibration, but was happy to do the MOT at £54. Vibration got worse and customer bought the car to us for a second opinion. 5 min and we confirmed the driver side front brake discoloured due to seized brake calliper (damaged dust cover and corrosion), caused the disc to over heat and warped disc. We also found a leaking driveshaft CV boot split (should be at least an advisory on the MOT, if not failure straightaway). After replacing the faulty calliper and fitted new brake disc & pads another happy customer left our workshop in (now) roadworthy condition.

They said it's a tyre, they said it will be fun 😊. We had an unusual tyre to fit today, 26" and had to work it from the inner side, but with our state of art Auto34 tyre changer it was not problem 👍. It is now safe on the road again 😉.

This Diesel Qashqai had been recovered to us with lack of power and EML on. After reading trouble diagnostic codes with Nissan's OEM code reader (Consult 3+) we confirmed multiple fuel system failure. After replacing 2 fuel injectors, 4 glow plugs and the cracked inlet pipe along with the DPF filter (which had been over filled with soot). Customer drove away with a powerful engine once again.

One of our most loyal customer in for another service today and now it is officially the highest mileage GTR in our care 118500 miles and still running strong :) :)
