Congratulations to Lauren Humphreys and her family who won the 25 tickets to Benson's Fun Fair this weekend. We hope you have a lovely time.

BreakAway, No Limits, PALS and STARS had a fantastic sports day in the summer holidays. There was so much on offer for everyone to take part in including archery, crazy golf, bouncy castle, giant slide, basketball, football, inflatable assault course and parachute games. An ice cream van also visited which went down well with everyone! We would like to thank Malcolm Thorpe for helping to fund this day, without this we wouldn't have been able to offer this selection!

Kangaroos run a group called STARS for Complex Needs kids and wheelchair users. My son Tom has Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and is 7. He absolutely LOVES going to Kangaroos STARS activities and has achieved a new level of independence from us since starting the group. He can be a bit of a home bird and has needed a lot of encouragement to trust someone else to look after him rather than just only wanting mummy and daddy. He completely loves the Kangaroos staff team and contact them as friends now. He loves all the days out - I cannot believe some of the things my boy gets up to! He's done rock climbing and dry slope skiing and ice skating - more than his 2 able bodied sisters have done! He trusts the staff implicitly for his personal care needs and I trust them with my precious boy too so I can use the time that Tom is with them to pay some attention to the girls and make them the focus of my attention. Thank you Kangaroos for giving him a social life and showing him there's more to life than staying home with family xxx

Kangaroos add bounce and a safe pouch for children whom find life a 'little' challenging. Sussex would be a lesser place without the tireless work of all those involved.

User

I would have to agree with Daniel's comment. Just brilliant for us and our very special children xx

I recently visited the STARS group and was amazed at the care and attention everyone receives whilst in the care of Kangaroos. It is an amazing

charity that helps families with children who have disabilities. I'm a homeopath and support the charity.

I recently visited one of the weekend Play schemes run by Kangaroos with my husband. What a lovely happy place it was. The team were so cheerful and attentive and clearly had a very special relationship with the children. The work Kangaroos do is simply amazing.

Have been involved with this playscheme since its humble beginnings and have watched its members grow and flourish, and the scheme itself it grow into the brilliant organisation it has become.
