PSYCHEDELIC BREATHWORK 💥 Last night was my first workshop for Oxford Psychedelic Society. Since the 1960s researchers have used breathwork as alternative to psychoactive drugs in psychotherapy sessions. 🤩 Breathwork drops us out of our conscious mind and into the body, and our connection to our heart, and we can dip a toe into the depths of our subconscious. 🤯... Last night so many people were surprised at how powerful the session was. I hear this all the time! People come along quite cynical about what can be achieved with just our breath and inner healer, and leave with a fresh perspective. 🥰 Massive thanks and love to ANEW - Therapies for mind, body and soul who assisted me last night. She is so caring towards everyone, and has supported me in bringing breathwork to Oxford from the start. RETREAT @ RIVERSIDE HAMPSHIRE We had the best time last weekend, 8 women, the vegan dream cook Katharine Westwood, and me, in an idyllic thatched cottage, immersed in the Hampshire countryside.
Ducks, kingfishers and even a heron hung out in front of us as we meditated, moved and breathed. Tears were shed, we laughed a LOT and we relaxed, slowed down and remembered what was important to each of us.

Doing some research for my upcoming breathwork session with Oxford Psychedelic Society and I listened to this impactful podcast.
So much of what is discussed mirrors what I have discovered through breathwork - that the individual is their own healer, the importance of self-love in healing, and the necessity of being supported and integrating what arises.
