User

Went yesterday evening for the racing...was a large group of us celebrating mine and my friends birthday.... we wanted a different night out and we sure had that.... we loved every minute from start to finish.... we had a laugh, had a few wins and some drinks and we can't wait to plan our next night out. Having worked here previously many years okay it was great to go to an event and experience the other side. Was a brilliant night.....

Only bad point is the toilets they do need some tlc but they were still clean just need some life back in them.

Can't wait to return on another night out....

User

We were at Kempton Park for the first time yesterday. The Owners & Trainers facilities were fantastic. Beautiful course, great food and excellent service. Couldn't fault it... apart from our horse coming last! Xx

User

Vibrant and full of life and great energy. Planes flying over were awesome!

User

Took anfamily trip to see the fireworks and enjoy the funfair! So well organised, the fireworks were the best I’ve seen to music of superheroes, the funfair was great with lots of rides for all ages. No car park charge and no queuing to leave. Thanks kempton!!

Race for life done here and good market

User

Had a great day at the family fun day. Excellent activities for the children and even managed to back a few winners! Great value for money, lovely family day out.

User

Had a family day out at the races. We went for my husbands birthday for the may bank holiday super heros day. Was great value for money with £10.00 a ticket. Plenty of activities for the children and some super hero entertainment. We took a picnic and had a great time. For some reason some of my family members had their camping chairs taken off them, which was strange as they took them when we went last time and all was fine?!? Even a downpour of rain didn't stop our fun day.

User

Great day out......first visit to Kempton, easy to get food and drink, toilet facilities superb and to top it off I came away UP!

User

Great day lovely meal in the restaurant very reasonably priced not that busy yesterday ,but that didn't take anything away from the experience , probably came out winning so a great day all in all thanks to all the team at Kempton

User

Great day at the races.....myself and family had a brilliant day.

The children's activities were great too..

the staff were super friendly.

and to top if off we saw frankie detorri.

can't wait for may to come back for super hero day....

User

First visit for ten years and can say great day and grandstand is first class.

User

£10 was very good value for the Saturday afternoon meeting with a few graded races.

You compare that to Musselburgh racing.

They charge you £30 to watch a bunch of selling players

The course executives are a disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves for ripping the public off.

Most should be made permanently unemployed

Close the track with too much corruption involved.

That's why youngsters etc just go to drink !

Back to kempton

The beers they sell are like drinking water.

Hardly a soul in the parade ring due to the shocking weather.

Overpriced the lot

A great idea to bomb the track and build houses and end corruption once and for all.

User

Usually we love kempton but for £20 on the gate we found it was a bit expensive especially as it was sold as a family day. Not as much as I thought there would be for the kids to do on "Super Hero Day" even though it was free for them to get in!

User

To close this historic track would be such a loss to British horse racing. I have attended many meetings and feel that the track has been let down in recent years. The July course at Newmarket is marketed so well , with regular music events increasing the crowd numbers by thousands. Watching all those famous racehorses over the yeas flying over those fabulous fences is irreplaceable. To close kempton park, would break many hearts.

User

I went with a mate for the London to Reading bike ride.

Highly grateful to the BHF for organising it ..

In my opinion the grounds looked a bit shabby and the toilets were disappointing , hmm .

Slightly precarious to get to using public transport from South East London but that's our issue .. but when it takes you longer to get there and back than riding to Reading it does make you think of the logistics. .

User

Good day...although it took an hour to get a dog balloon lol - maybe more balloon makers needed on a family day. good selection of food and drink available

User

Went yesterday for the family fun day not a terrible course but too small shame to close but it is stupidly expensive for food and drink and ridiculously hard to get to on public transport 45 min drive up the m3 or 3 hours on 3 or 4 trains great track just needs to be bigger cheaper and some tlc

User

spent some great times here in the late 70s through the 80s when the facilities were quainter and more family orientated with a great atmosphere, I wish it had remained like Windsor racecourse. For me its far too big and commercial now focusing on quantity rather than quality, sad to see it is earmarked for closure though to build houses.

User

Went for the evening races on Saturday, it was only £12 to get in which I thought was good value for money. Have never been before but often go to Ascot so was looking forward to it. I was disappointed! Drinks tooooo expensive £5 a pint £5.60 a small bottle of wine and £1.70 for a mixer and then having to wait 5 mins to get served as not enough staff. Considering it was an evening meet and winter you would think the heating would be on, if it was I certainly didn't feel it and had to leave by 8.30 as too cold. Toilets need to be re decorated looking very sorry for themselves and the food available was shockingly expensive, £2.70 for small chips! Disappointed overall and will think twice about going back.
