Booking closes Friday for our Quilt-As-You-Go Patchwork bag Class! Wed 26th Sept 10 am-1pm £40- reserve your spot now as the spaces are very limited! Make a quilted patchwork bag using the stitch and flip method which joins the pieces and quits at the same time making it quick and easy but with amazing results. Choose from our pre-cut beautiful patchwork strips and make your own unique bag measuring approx. 38x30cm All materials provided.

We are moving the time of the Sewing Circle to the afternoon, 2-4 pm every Thursday, beginning in September. Numbers have been a bit down lately due to illness and other commitments so if you would like to come and sew with like minded people, have a cup of tea and a biscuit and put the world to rights then come along and join us. No pre-booking or commitment necessary, just turn up with your own project or seek inspiration form others. £3 per session, £5 if you would like to... use our large cutting table and £7.50 if you want to use our sewing machines.
Don't forget Knit and Natter on a Tuesday afternoon 2-4 as well. All levels and experience welcome. Bring your own knitting or seek advice and materials from the shop. £3 a session and in this group you definitely will put the world to rights!

After another very successful 'Get to know your sewing machine class last night, (we even had a 9 yr old with her mum who was excellent) we have some more dates for you. Thurs 2nd Aug and Thurs 6th Sept 6-9 pm Also don't forget the beginners Overlocker class Thursday 19th July 6-9 pm. There are a couple a places left on this. Tea and cake included as always.

These handsome little bears are off to the Red Cross to help children in trauma, thanks to our Knit and Natter group. ( particularly Ruth!)

I spent a lovely morning at Knights today, being taught to make Christmas bunting by Nina and supplied with tea and delicious homemade cake by Jane. Thanks ladies - I loved it and am now totally inspired! Our house will soon be festooned in bunting!!
