Koast Radio is a not for profit community radio station based in Ashington in the South East of Northumberland.
Koast Radio is to dedicated to providing high quality local radio to promote business and the community in the area and give a voice to those who might not otherwise be heard.
We seek to develop social, cultural and educational activities and information for the community.
We want YOU to be involved, whether it be telling us the type of music you want us to play, taking part in phone -ins and debate or volunteering both on and off air.

I was invited in by Alan to guest on his 80s show, picking some of my favourite tunes and talking about my writing. Alan and the team were fantastic, and I had a wonderful evening. I’ve been on Annie’s show too and again couldn’t praise them all more highly. It’s a top class radio station and a real asset to the community. Thanks everyone at Koast Radio. I was given the opportunity to play live on Koast Radio’s 80s night held on Tuesdays at 8-11pm and really enjoyed the experience!! Felt really welcomed by the team and also enjoyed the 80s tunes! Would defo recommend tuning in! �
I only really listen to one show .. The Renegade Rock Show with Graeme and Alan on a Monday night .. they play some really good music and the banter between them is madcap to say the least .. The station itself is excellent and run by volunteers
I like to listen to Annie on a Sunday she played breast music, you ask her for a certain song she will do her best I asked for a few songs and got them on. Thanks Annie x
I just want to say MarkyMark's show is really so good that i would love to see him have an extra hour. He always entertains on facebook live & plays a good mix of tunes new & old
I am currently listening to Teenage Kicks and I have thoroughly enjoyed Hannah and Eve's show. They have played a range of music to celebrate International Women's day as well as some songs I haven't heard in a while. It certainly got me singing along! I especially loved their section of inspiring quotes. A breath of fresh air after a busy day at work. Keep playing the great music �
Great station. I live abroad and listen online. Like hearing the local accents and the variety of music genres played is good but I LOVE The Renegade Rock Show. The G-Man and Alan B are a great double act .... very funny. Also like That Saturday Show with The G-Man and Ginger Jesus.

Great local station with a mixed variety of music to suit everyone. It's good to be able to listen to a station from back home online.
Great little station ran by volunteers and have a show over the week to cater for people's personal taste in music...
