Went here with friends a couple of days ago. As me and my fiancee have been here three times before we wanted to take our friends here as well. Must say the dining experience has been excellent every time we've been at Koh Tapas, the same counts for the service. Perfect authentic asian food, haven't found any similar tapas restaurants like this back in Norway. As we now live close by I often see its quite busy in the weekends...so sometimes you should book a table in advance.

This restaurant has great ambience, the staff are attentive without being over the top. This is our 2nd visit and it did not disappoint; food was hot, plentiful portions and very good value. This is by far our favourite Thai eatery.

Love the tapas menu, but it would be nice to see it changed to provide variety for future visits. Love the cocktails too!

It was our 25th wedding anniversary so we thought we would go for lunch. We had the light lunch and it was very filling. Just the right amount. The service was good and very friendly and the food was excellent. Thank you

Been here once before and loved it and am disappointed with myself for leaving it two years before returning.



The food was amazing as were the cocktails and the staff.



The place was busy and we had to wait a bit for a seat and then had quite a gap between courses, but hey we were out for romantic evening and had time to relax, enjoy ourselves and talk, oh and drink.



I know the staff got some grief tonight but some people just need to chill a little and enjoy themselves. We and others were warned it was busy and they had been caught out somewhat, which was obvious to see, but they were managing and it certainly didn't affect the atmosphere and food.



Can not recommend this place highly enough and we will be going back sooner this time.

Amazing restaurant, delicious food, very interesting cocktails! Had my 70th birthday lunch here and converted quite a few people to Thai food. The set menu is ideal for people who don't know what to have and there is more than enough food for everyone. Not cheap, but you get your money's worth.

Get the boozy duck and a summer blaze cocktail

We went for a meal last night food was fantastic as usual , dim sum is my husbands favourite although we love everything else as well , however our waitress wasn’t very friendly was quite miserable , the manager is lovely really enjoyed our evening

Way too much chilli! Dim sum starter smothered in chilli flakes in thick oil. After scraping off the chilli the dim sum was delicious and a lovely texture. Chilli seafood sizzler was so hot it was practically inedible. My husband suffered it and let me have the Penang curry he'd ordered which tasted just like my home cooked one, fab! I would definitely return as the restaurant itself had a lovely lively atmosphere, even though a little dark, and very attentive staff. Would prefer jasmine tea from a pot so I could top up instead of a latte glass.

Very good food, had some dim sum and spicy duck. Both of those were delicious. The only bad thing is that the price does not reflect the portions (a little expensive for the amount of food). Besides that everything was great.

Nice place staff friendly and the 2 for 1 cocktails (before 7pm) Were lovely. I had the soya noodles and although they were ment to be off a medium heat they were really too hot for me which was a shame because they were really nice other wise.

My husband had beef stir fry which he enjoyed but was not really a man's size portion!

I would recommend this place but would also recommend you chose carefully of what you order!

Nothing but trouble and disappointment when I went for my 30th. I tried to book at table for my 30th birthday but due to being December was told no availability on my actual birthday but could fit our table of 17 for the day after (what I was happy with) so I paid £170 deposit. The trouble started on my actual birthday a month after making the booking, when I got a call fro Koh asking if my booking for tonight was still OK. What! I was told there was no availability. The manager said they would try and sort this problem out but didn't receive a call back till 2hrs later when I should of been celebrating my 30th I was left worried. On arriving on the original time I had made the booking I was offered a drink on the house which I kindly accepted. We all went for the top set menu for £27.90 each as we was told there would be plenty of food but we all felt rushed through our meal and left hungry at the end due to people waiting for our table. Due to being previous customers and knowing the high standards koh can deliver this was a real disappointment!

I don't usually write reviews but I thought i would take the time for this one.



Saturday night me my partner and our 2 friends tryed this restaurant for the first time after hearing some lovely reviews about the food.



We arrived at 745 when our table was booked for. The manager said our table want quite ready and please wait at the already over populated bar. We had no room to stand with out getting asked to move by the staff trying to get drinks out every min. Then a big group of hens joined us as the bar where there just wasn't room for any of us. 30 mins later the hens got seated by the manager. So we waited for her to come back and asked when out table would be ready as it was 830 and had been waiting for 45 mins just to be seated. She looked shocked as they had obviously forgotten us. 5 mins later she come back to tell us our table was ready. We sat down and ordered our drinks and said we would try the tapas 26 pound per head. 9 the manager come over to say sorry about the mix up with tables and that food is taking so long and can she get us a drink. We ordered another cocktail each. The waiter come up 15 mins later with 2 cocktails and said Sorry we have run out of lime so won't be able to make the other 2 what other drinks did u want. So we ordered 2 other drinks with out lime. Then the startes come out at 930 1 hr and 45 mins after our table was booked. We had 6 dishes with one item on each plate. After we had finished it took at least 40 mins for mains to come out. We had to go out more car parking on the car. We spoke to the manager and asked if we could have some discount as we had waited so long. She wasn't happy but took all of our drinks off the bill ( 7 cocktails) they were 7.95 each so saving of just over 55 was a good deal.



The food was lovely. Just seemed they tryed to get too many people.

Bit disappointed this evening ordering our first takeaway! Although we quite enjoyed the food the rice was dried up! And we felt that the £27 charged including £2.50 delivery charge was very overpriced for what was on our plates! It definitely wasn’t worth the money and won’t be ordering a takeaway again!
